Problem's are the size of a cow?
As you jump up and down like a toad
Liam's had some bad ones too
Just clean the pool, send the kids to sc-hool

And the Toad line is from a song Noel hasn't officially released isn't it? Therefore he didnt see it fit for public consumption (yet).

I've never had a problem with the lyrics in Once as I think that they fit the song. As for Noel's worst lyrics in his solo career what about the Running Out Of Batteries line in Dream On. And, yes, the Size Of A Cow line is nicked from a Wonder Stuff song (which I've always loved).

I really like problems a size of a cow. So random that it just works. Its one of them lyrics that kind of become themselves if the song is a success. Like most of Whats The Story.

Same. Really like the song as a whole, especially that second verse. It's silly because of The Wonder Stuff song always being silly to begin with.

They say that you need love Just like a kid on crack
Song: The Mexican
Even great songwriters can have a bad line or two. Noel is easily one of the greatest in history.
So is Liam.

It doesn't matter about the Size Of A Cow having silly lyrics it's still a great song. In the it's probably one of my favourite songs from the 90s.

Does anyone know where the size of a cow lyrics come from? Would be intrigued to hear, as hardly anyone has mentioned it

I've always cringed at the jeans fraying lyrics in the right stuff. It's a shame because I love the tune and think it's amongst his best solo efforts

"They say that you need love Just like a kid on crack?" Close the thread. What makes it worse is Noel only added that line to deprive the AA of a writing credit. X

The kids outside, drank up all their lemonade - Dream On
If love is the law, then this is a crime - If Love Is the Law
I wanna piece of the world and everyone inside my mouth - Record Machine

Ok, I've listened to The Wonder Stuff "size of a cow". I don't know why people are so attached to it. But, I line really stuck out to me. "And these could be the best days of my life" Digsy's dinner was around the same time. Was the lyric lifted?
I'm surrounded by cows the four legged kind are cute. The two legged not so much.

I hereby nominate “Soldier Boys & Jesus Freaks”...the title alone is bad enough. I’m not normally one to complain, but this whole song makes me cringe.

good rebel verses are top. one of those songs that should have ended up on HC b-side. in fact it's up (down) there with All In The Mind top me. not THAT shit, but easy and bland
b-side to the first HFB single? oh fuck...
