Was well happy that the two tribute bands that got mentioned I have fronted. I was in Noasis for over a year and now I'm in Oas-is. Got a proper cheer in my house haha! I thought he was referring to the 90s band No Way Sis which got pretty big You could be right, but I think the guy was referring to Noasis. If you listen back to his words that's what he says, "Noasis". He also mentions Oas-is, so it makes sense that he's referring to more recent bands like Noasis.

Watch it in real-time on a good monitor/TV and you will see that it is light bouncing off the wrinkles of his shiny jacket fabric, which is perfectly capable of producing an illusion of stripes. When he moves, voila, "scarf" disappears! It is not a scarf. [source: I work in the motion picture industry. Even if you are "suspicious" of the recording, the idea that somehow Liam recorded this multiple times in order to perfectly lip synch but then somehow put a scarf on and then off without anyone noticing is hilarious.]

Just watched it and an amazing vocal from Liam, I don't like the song but that was genuinely top. Clearly not a mime, I can see why people may think that but when you analyse it carefully it's not.
And surprised about the hate for Matt Lucas, he was alright. His jibes at Liam and Oasis were ok and made for good Liam replies, that's the whole point of these chat shows. He knows the game.
And whoever that blonde was she was lovely. ❤
Great pair of tits on her.

Best youtube comment "LG in one sentence: his voice is directly proportional to the haircut."

His vocals are amazing at the moment. And he looks cool as f*ck!
Definitely a great time to be a Liam Gallagher fan right now!

Very good performance - think it's best he can sound right now. Still far from 2017 heights but who cares? Only me maybe. But vocally it's very, very good. Another performance that proves AYDO's live better than studio. And what a perfect look - he's rock as fuck!
upd. I re-watched it for 'mimed' stuff - no way. Liam is absolutely live, Dan plays his drum cymbals to the beat, backing vocals are also at least by that bassist (forgot the name) and he also sings to the beat, strings' girls are all right... Didn't find anything wrong

Watched it a bit. Champagne Supernova extended, the one of the guests (couple) were talking about is the version from Budokan 1998 I bet.

Matt Lucas is responsible for one of the most casually racist and transphobic lowest common denominator pieces of trash TV in recent memory. I have no interest in anything he has to say.

Matt Lucas just isn't funny and I've never liked him. At least Liam put him in his place though.

DISCLAIMER: I AM NEITHER MIDDLE CLASS NOR A TORY
So I live in Tunbridge Wells and am a teacher. My colleagues are all lovely but the majority of them are middle class, middle aged tories. Anyway, I was discussing the JR show today and a load of them were clutching their pearls over Liam and how 'awfully arrogant' he is. A lot of them were apologising to me as they know I like him. 'Poor Matt Lucas was trying to have a conversation with him and he decided to provoke him' etc. etc.
Very amusing.
On a more relevant note, his vocal was phenomenal and, as per usual, he sounds great after a substantial period off.
If only management would learn that Liam needs to be having a couple of days off after each gig.

Yeah days between gigs is probably unrealistic. I think blocks with maybe a couple of weeks in between would be good.

I don't know if it's an age thing but I didn't find him "arrogant" in this, he looked like he was joking around, also didn't see that conversation attempt, and can't imagine how anyone would genuinely try that in a show that is made up of an exchange of quick one liners. I imagine it's because he unapologetically talks in an unpolished way that he attracts such criticism ? Or is this actually considered shocking in the UK ?

This infamous scarf appears on the one show... now I’ve dropped that I’m standing back watching with popcorn
