...hoping it would get better but didn't (stolen from Reddit.
For me, Hope Lost. Seems to be (all but one Acquaoli who now plays Samurai, and yes that is said character in my Av) a dial it in. Seriously if you wanted a real snuff film idea Mr. Petrucci, please watch the Last House On Dead End Street. one of only 2 movies that have ever made me throw up (The other one I will not name for protection of a member)

Maybe not the worst, but it's the most recent.
Us and Them, a 2017 british movie. It's so bad that I even considered emailing the director to let him know how hard he failed. It tries to be Funny Games + Trainspotting + This is England + Snatch. Sometimes it feels that you're watching a comedy about a failed asault and then it's a horror movie with action scenes and explosions. And towards the end it morphs into a social movie and tries to make a statement about the working class. But it's so badly told that the message not only gets lost, it's inconsistent to the character's actions.
I don't know if the movie is popular in the UK, I had never heard of it before, but if you haven't seen it you can skip this one.

Tideland. I love Terry Gilliam, but this movie was the most disturbing piece of dreck I've ever sat through.

God, too many to decide....
Jaws: The Revenge, Swept Away, Battlefield Earth and Staying Alive would all be contenders...
Also some i couldn’t sit through at all, like Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen and Disaster Movie.

Time Freak (2018).
It really was not that bad but what ruined it was the fact that the girlfriend didn't dump the protagonist's ass at the end and he never really learned the lesson he was supposed to. It just pandered to all of the stupid cliches of the genre and made everyone seem like they were out of their fucking mind stupid. It was painful to watch.

When a movie sucks I forget it's title almost immediately after the fact.
There are a couple of films on Netflix that I turned off halfway through.

There’s your evidently shite ones like Transformers that anyone with common sense knows are some of the worst films ever but I remember watching Superbad and just wanting to machine gun the main characters throughout.

I can’t really say it’s a “bad movie” because it really wasn’t meant for me but sitting through Sense and Sensibility was painful. No disrespect to Jane Austin but really not my cup of tea for enjoyment. (I get it’s making valid points etc)
