Hi everyone. Hope you are all doing good! Back in January I got in touch with user aparatchik (Dave) on Reddit via this post. He happened to own two rare video tapes that was given to him by someone who worked for Sony back in 1994, and wanted advice on what to do with the footage. Long story short, we got talking, and I helped him digitalize them. Now, he kindly suggested the footage be shared freely online amongst fans, and the only thing we are both asking in return is that people consider donating to the Music Venue Trust charity. Covid 19 lockdown and restrictions have hit the music industry hard. Music Venue Trust, a UK charity, is actively working to keep the lights on for 600+ independent stages where many of the bands we love got their start. If you enjoy these files, please consider making a donation to MVT's #SaveOurVenues campaign . OK, on to the actual downloads: - 1994 Whisky tapeDubbed to be one of Oasis worst ever gigs, fueled by crystal meth and tension within the band, this is the full tape in significantly better quality than previously circulating on bootleg. - 1994 MTV 120 minutes tape Includes unedited interview with Noel and Bonehead, and a few unseen takes (not aired) You can also head over to reddit and give a shout out and warm thank you to Dave himself here. Without his generosity none of this would be online now. Please help share the post, and consider donating if possible. A lot of hard work went into making this available to fans across the world for free. I have personally donated both money, time and bandwidth, and none of us are asking for anything in return. Have a good day. Stay safe!

joakim Thanks to you (and the owner) for following through on this on the Oasis sub Reddit. This is great work and I personally am thankful for those of you who work to preserve Oasis history!

Thank you very much for all this, joakim and Dave! I really appreciate all your work and made these rare footage available for all the Oasis fans. My small donation is on the way. Thank you very much again!
Covid-19 hits all the music venues in the world. I've donated a part of my tickets for the cancelled Laura Marling gig to my very favourite venue Paradiso as well.

Amazing. Thanks for uploading...
Errrm.... I'll say it....
The gig doesn't sound or look bad at all? Any keener ears than me able to pinpoint any examples of them 'playing different songs' or whatever else?

Amazing. Thanks for uploading... Errrm.... I'll say it.... The gig doesn't sound or look bad at all? Any keener ears than me able to pinpoint any examples of them 'playing different songs' or whatever else? Yeah when I listened to that gig first time I was perplexed. It’s not bad or at least not that bad as I thought. Good gig actually 🤷🏻♀️ Thanks for uploading! I have donated a little bit

The first attempt at RnRS it seems someone is playing the same chord throughout, sounds like Noel

Probably another case of Noel exaggerating the whole "disaster" thing for the sake of a good story. The band were on crystal meth alright but still played fine nevertheless.

Amazing. Thanks for uploading... Errrm.... I'll say it.... The gig doesn't sound or look bad at all? Any keener ears than me able to pinpoint any examples of them 'playing different songs' or whatever else? There's nothing wrong with this gig. Maybe Noel's backing vocals are a bit off and there's a minimal fuck up during Shakermaker (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uz-xg1SAkNY 22:36) but the rest is just fine. The first attempt at RnRS it seems someone is playing the same chord throughout, sounds like Noel You mean during "I live my life..."? That's what he normally plays. faroutmagazine.co.uk/oasis-liam-gallagher-noel-gallagher-whisky-a-go-go-1994-la/-Exploding amp: yes. They restarted the song and finished the gig, no problem there. -Noel playing songs completely different to the rest of the band: not true at all. -Liam threatening the audience: he's done that multiple times. -Noel sings with a camp tone: ?? -Liam can’t be bothered to sing and sits his way through most of the songs: bullshit.

I am in need of a favor, guys. Could someone kindly ask in the comments for this YouTube user to add a link to the charity Music Venue Trust #SaveOurVenues with the info as on my website? [ edit: removed embedded link] m.youtube.com/watch ? v=Yf9EnM6C7m0 This is NOT my YouTube account, and whereas I appreciate the help to spread the footage, and I am sure both Dave and myself can live with not being credited for it by name, we would both appreciate that the work we did is in fact linked to the charity. I would do it myself, but I am on holiday, and without my laptop and account info 😪 I would really appreciate it. Keep donating if possible, and thanks for all your comments. More to come. Joakim

^ joakim I posted about it 2 weeks ago. I just checked and not only they never added the donation link in the description, but also they deleted my comment EDIT: just checked again and the comment is there now. idk maybe it was flagged as spam and was hidden before. They haven't included the donation link in the description though

^ joakim I posted about it 2 weeks ago. I just checked and not only they never added the donation link in the description, but also they deleted my comment You are an absolute star, eva! Thanks so much for trying to reach out to the channel owner - I really appreciate it. I will hereby consider naming my firstborn Eva I guess I'll just turn the blind eye here - like I said I really don't mind it being shared widely, but do find it incredibly demotivating when people refuse to credit either the charity or where they got it from. Oh well, you tried. I will try to get back into the habit of posting videos on YouTube as well in the future. It just adds to the workload with the amount of hours spent arranging, transferring, setting up and hosting this on yet another platform. Oh well, upwards and onwards. Oh, and to people reading this; please consider donating still. I will personally make a new donation on my next paycheck. All festivals and gigs I had plans for is cancelled, so this is important. Best regards, Joakim
