Oasis MTV Unplugged with Liam on vocals would have been unbeatable. Still great to hear these songs acoustic and there are some nice versions ("Listen Up" being the best) but also some arrangements didn't age well. Liam MTV Unplugged is very good but his solo tunes contrast with the Oasis ones (not that they're bad but they're not par with the classics like "Champagne Supernova", "Sad Song" or "Cast No Shadow"). So like igotflair, I'm abstaining.

Gotta be Liam.
Just never really liked Noel live all that much.

Liam. Noel did a good job for being put in that position at such last minute but it's all about Liam's voice for me.

Liam all the way.
The original Oasis Unplugged was a massive disappointment. First no Liam vocals which is a huge part of what makes the band so special. It was also Noels first real broadcast exposure singing all of the songs and it was a little bland - his Royal Albert Hall live record is much better than Oasis Unplugged.
LG’s unplugged may be a few decades late but it is very solid.
I watched Oasis unplugged when it first aired and haven’t bothered to listen to it again. I have already had LG Unplugged on repeat.

I’m going with Noel.
I much prefer Liam as a performer, and 1996 was a massive missed opportunity, and as much as I genuinely love Liam’s solo work, the 1996 setlist is astonishing.
Time machine for 1996 Oasis: take a break after Loch Lomond / Knebworth / Cork.

Liam absolutely! The 1996 version with Noel is flat, not very passionate and very light. Unplugged with Liam is a "burning fire". Magnificent!

Noel did a hell of a job but in the end Oasis IMO is Liam's voice + Noel's lyrics one without the other is simply NOT Oasis.

Liam. Purely because it includes new songs, and I'm bored AF of listening to the same old Oasis songs being performed.

Oasis's MTV Unplugged set was total shit because it was pretty much just a normal Oasis set with a piano replacing a guitar. Liam seemed to put a little more thought into it. Plus it was a special night. I get the distinct impression that Oasis's one was competition winners waiting for Wonderwall.

Was Oasis Unplugged ever released as an album? No, it wasn't. I guess it would've been released if Liam was on vocals.

Oasis, easily. Although Noel is a much better singer nowadays he did a great job and the setlist is much superior.
I like Liam's solo songs but you just cant compare them to a full classic Oasis setlist.

Liam just because Noel's voice was a lot weaker back then... Amazing how much Noel's voice has improved and how much better of a singer he is now

I dont tend to listen much to Oasis unplugged. I have made a little playlist of LG unplugged and the best of NGs semi acoustic shows though which sound great. So yeah, i can't decide

You can put The Dreams we have as children CD in your sondage which is more unplugged than the 96 's one...
