Interesting! Would be great to hear these. I think the tracks on that cassette might be TV mixes in the sense of pre-recorded backing tracks for Liam to sing live over.

Hey this is cool. This tape hasn't just been found however. Here's some more info on the tape from Mr Monobrows website:
Regardless it's commendable for the owner of the tape to put it out there and will certainly be appreciated by the Oasis community. So thanks James! Cool move.

So I’ve been putting up with listening to Absolute for 3 days now to hear this! Anyone know who this collector James is? Sounds like he has some other cool items, I’d be up for interviewing him
Nice interview with Bone today but they still haven’t played it, playing next week apparently. The angle is they are getting a tape player to the guy but I doubt that... more likely they are just dragging it out
Bone said it was recorded at Out Of The Blue... that’s the same as the Alice/ Reminisce/ Take Me tape so it could just be a remix of that Take Me with added siren sound affects?

I think the best source of information on the recording is from davidjay : It sounds like it would have been from a different trip to Out of the Blue from the original demo tape, which I think was from the fall of 1991. Best guess is that they went back into the studio some time in the spring of 1992 (with Noel this time) to re-record it in order to land the slot on the roadshow. davidjay guigsysEstring: any other information out there on this? So I’ve been putting up with listening to Absolute for 3 days now to hear this! Their tweet just says that somebody called James has found a copy. They don't actually say that he gave the radio station a copy or that they're going to play it - they just ask if anybody wants to hear it. I can play this game too. EMI have a copy of the 27 minute version of Helter Skelter by the Beatles! Anybody want to hear it?

I reckon it’s Jim that’s winding them up..... Not the only one who thinks that mate! 😉 Genuinely, I’ve had a couple of people ask me this week if it was me who had the cassette! If I did it wouldn’t be on the radio it would be ripped for everyone on here to hear.

Listening to it right now, only difference I can hear is the sirens in the beginning, can anyone confirm it's a separate recorded performance to the original or just an edit?

The sirens give the song a different feeling, interesting.

so to be clear, the Dave Berry breakfast show played it? To be honest. The sirens and the program IDs are the best parts of the recording

The sirens give the song a different feeling, interesting. They are a tad more annoying than the alarm bell on "Fort Knox".

Fuss over nothing, one of the two versions widely in circulation with the inclusion of some air raid sirens which add very little to the track.

I tried to buy this tape, some months ago. I never believed that I would listen this.
Many thanks to Oasispodcast for the news, to James (The actual owner of the tape), to the Dave Berry Breakfast Show for the program IDs jaja and to Maxi Gonzalez OASIS for the rip (a good video collage).
There's another little difference: a enhanced mix for the Noel's Guitar
Mystery solved

Thanks for the link.
Appears to be a rehash of the previous demo. The sirens are very odd, likely not part of the original recording. So surprised they were lauding this as some lost demo.
