Not sure how Biden can recover from wishing a woman charged with child sex trafficking well. No one knows what Donald Trump will say next. No one knows what Joe Biden says at all.

Yeah, Trump doesn't have a leg to stand on, but what the actual fuck is this? If the Dems did all they could to help this asshole win, the least they could no now is hide him or say that he lost his voice and can't do interviews for a while. If I was an American in a swingstate I would still begrudgingly vote for the guy, but this shit is embarrassing and unacceptable. Without the virus he would have had little to no chance of beating Trump.
And this isn't much better either...

And this isn't much better either... Come on, the last 30 seconds look like something a comedian like Alan Partridge would say! That's in line with the "I will beat Joe Biden" immortal quote which opened this thread.

That's in line with the "I will beat Joe Biden" immortal quote which opened this thread. In these Deepfake times I sometimes struggle to believe what I see. That was the case with the Trump interview, and with this too. "Are you a junkie?" followed by the laugh, stumbling TWICE when trying to say mental fitness... If I was a neutral I'd sure be looking forward to the debates whenever and how they would take place, but sadly I can't take too much joy from it given that this senile old man simply *has* to win.

We are witnessing the rapid decline of America. All it took was one idiot president and a pandemic to finally tip the scale. 50% of the population haven't paid rent or mortgage since July and are now facing eviction in states with no active protections or will be facing eviction soon without further extensions. 20% unemployment unofficially. Small businesses closing left and right. Decreased pay for many workers "lucky" to still be employed. An unstable market being propped up only by the government pumping trillions into it and rapidly inflating debt as well as corporate socialism so that they get richer while a significant portion of the population can't even feed themselves.
And here comes Mr. "Nothing will fundamentally change" sleepy Joe Biden to rescue us from a situation which lines his pockets like the corporate stooge he is. MURICA! What a shithole.

Biden can sit back in his armchair until November and not say a word and he’ll still trounce the election. His best campaign tool is, well, that tool in the White House.

Remember when Biden said "I'm not responsible at all" for his lack of preparation for the pandemic and his response to it? Oh, right. Is anyone else sensing a pattern with my posts on this thread? What ever could it be? You need to create your own Donald Trump Gaffe Thread, or whatever you want to name it. Joe Biden is entitled to his own thread.

Cheeks is calling out Biden for making gaffes when he's actively supporting Trump and actively supported Bush. (He also called Obama too slick for not making gaffes and being too well-spoken, mind you.) If you don't want me to call out his utter hypocrisy with specific examples, maybe he shouldn't be so hypocritical in the first place.

I think we can say fuck Trump, but also take some time to laugh at Biden. Not Joe Biden the human being, but at Joe Biden as the embodiment of an utterly immoral party who stands for nothing except stifling systemic change that would benefit poor people. A party that would knowingly risk losing this election(AGAIN!) to an insane person by propagating a senile old man who has fuck all to offer except promises to the rich that nothing will fundamentally change. The Democrats know that isn't the best winning strategy, but losing to Trump is an infinitely smaller loss to them than if Sanders had won, or if some of his ideas would be a part of Biden's presidential campaign. Winning in November would merely be a bonus to them, because they already defeated their biggest enemy during the primaries.
So yeah, that's why I feel good ridiculing Joe Biden. I still want the fucker to win(Trump to lose would be way more accurate), but that doesn't mean he deserves defence like "but Trump also has cognitive issues!" That's just as good as "But Trump has so many more sexual assault allegations!" Yeah that's fucking great... but what if we could talk about how much better Biden is instead of having to go on about how he's much less bad? Now that would truly be great.

Sure, Biden makes plenty of gaffes. And he has a stutter, which gets worse as people age. But it's incredibly rich for an avid Trump (and Bush) supporter to point that out. Seeing that Cheeks never made gaffe threads for Bush or Trump, it's hypocrisy at its finest. But I guess whenever it's one of his guys making gaffes, it's "folksy" and "real." But let's not forget that this was the same guy who said Obama wasn't authentic because he read speeches from teleprompters. The pot calling the kettle black. IMAX level projection.

Until Bidens proven to be a ‘senile old man’ and is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, then you’re just buying into the right wing propaganda. If that’s your news source, then how can you come to an objective appraisal of him? Biden winning will take political discourse back into a proper critical analysis rather than the debased debate of the last four years. People will actually have a chance to critically look at his presidency for once - nobody’s had a chance with Trump as he’s that bad. And if he fucks up, then the Democrats will know. But I also don’t think arguments that ‘he’s not Sanders, he’s a corporatist pig’ will make any impact - most voters don’t care for that rhetoric, their minds are on more everyday matters like making sure the US Postal Service is not fucked up or dismantled, or the jobs market increases. Bidens an uninspired choice. He’s not a game changer in any way, he’s not the man America needs. But I want Biden to win because I just want the delegitimisation of illiberal, racist views from the man in the White House. Don’t think that these things don’t make a difference because they do and they have had done so much damage in ensuring horrible views are legitimised in western societies. I don’t care for a revolution, I just want some common bloody sense back. Baby steps.

Don’t think that these things don’t make a difference because they do and they have had done so much damage in ensuring horrible views are legitimised in western societies. I don’t care for a revolution, I just want some common bloody sense back. Baby steps. First off - I want him to win. I didn't write it in the most sincere way so I get it if you missed it, but I do,for many of the reasons you listed. As for whatever's wrong with him... sure, I should probably not use terms like senile, but let's say he's not even having any kind of cognitive decline... then there's still something very wrong with him, it is undeniable. People can see it for themselves, and if it wasn't for Covid I'm dead sure he would be trailing Trump right now, his public appearances definitely being a part of it. They're actively hiding him for god's sake, and for very good reason. It's true that people generally care less about the policies this time around, but that also has a potential downside. A recent poll www.google.se/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/jackbrewster/2020/08/13/poll-56-of-biden-voters-say-theyre-voting-for-him-because-hes-not-trump/amp/ showed that 56% of people who will vote for Biden said their main reason was "He's not Trump." Sure that looks unifying in a way, but that kind of support is not a great foundation because it is dependant on the other candidate fucking up, which Trump is doing, but if you don't have anything that makes people want to vote FOR you instead of against the other guy, then you're playing a risky game.

Biden definitely has dementia. I don't need (nor would we get) a document indicating that he has it to say so. It's blatantly evident. Comparing his speech now to clips from 2008 and the decline is clear. I don't want somebody with dementia as president. I especially do not want Biden as president because his policies on important issues which are actively causing suffering in this country are generally shit. "Nothing will fundamentally change." Joe Biden.
As funhouse pointed out, that poll at 56% of Biden voters supporting him only because he isn't Trump is self explanatory and terribly embarrassing. Biden is a terrible candidate even by Americas low ass standards. And all leftist Americans should be angry that this is the best we were served up. Obviously we did have Bernie, but between voter suppression during the caucus and primaries and near 24/7 media assassination against him, they made sure it would be anybody but Bernie.
The truth is the democratic party you're going to be voting for this November would sooner have Trump re-elected than have had Bernie win. Ask yourself why.
If that doesn't piss you off and make you want to abandon this shit party, then what would? We're already fucked out of decent medical care at an affordable price. We're already abandoned by the government in the midst of a global pandemic and The New Great Depression. 40 million Americans are soon to be on the goddamn street and likely more than that come next month. Millions more than that number have ZERO MEDICAL INSURANCE to speak of during a massive health crisis. The cost of living was already bad before all this shit went down with 50% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck. It's now worse. The middle class is shrinking. Has been shrinking. And what was left of small business before this crisis began has basically evaporated or will soon be gone.
How much must we be fucked over before we stop supporting these people who do not have our interests at heart? What more will we allow them to take? What needs to happen is a demonstration by the people that we are no longer willing to take their shit. That we will no longer support weak candidates. That we will no longer support candidates who do not have our interests at heart. We can't do that by showing up to vote for the candidate they have chosen for us.

Empathetically, it’s a very difficult watch. And practically, he should be nowhere near public office of any sort.

Trump is an egomaniac who isn't very bright, but he's able to speak, albeit poorly and maneuver his way out of hard questions. Biden often gets hung up on questions and his brain stops working completely at the best of times. At his worst, he launches into bizarre tirades against corn pop gangsters, and how he likes children to bounce on his lap and stroke his wet hairy legs.

At his worst, he launches into bizarre tirades against corn pop gangsters, and how he likes children to bounce on his lap and stroke his wet hairy legs. It's a confidence issue. Trump fucks up constantly, but his narcissism allows him to just move on the next second, and then he says five even dumber things before quickly moving on from them too. It's like you're watching a highlights package of all goals from a Worl Cup or something, and by the end you struggle to remember any of them because there's so many damn goals following each other in such rapid succession. When Biden fucks up it's like someone hits the pause button, allowing you to really take it all in. Like that interview where he apologizes for saying Trump should act like a president, then seems to want to just stop the interview altogether, while the woman asking the questions smiles nervously for seconds that feel eternal. If Trump had been more self aware, it's possible his possible cognitive decline would be much more apparent.
