Beautiful weather, yet still pretty cold. So many people went to forest and Do-It-Self shops yesterday despite of the government's advice to stay home and to avoid people gathering. You all fools, think of your grand parents, elderly people and people with illunes.

So, school is now closed to most students from today and I’ve been told that we are 99% certain to be off until at least September. I need to produce a vast amount of data and be able to evidence it for every GCSE and A-Level student I teach in order that they can be awarded a fair grade instead of sitting exams.
School is still open to children on the Social Services At Risk register and for key workers’ children. It’s staffed on a voluntary basis, so I’ve said I’ll go in on Mondays and Tuesdays and I’ll be taking care of a group of 10 little ones who are in emergency foster care. I’ve decided that today we’ll be making masks 😷🤧!! The rest of the week I’ll be locked down in London; I’m hoping that I’ll be allowed in and out of the City as it’s inevitably going to be closed off.
A lot of the people in my bubble are musicians or crew or whatever and they have all taken a 100% hit on their income. One of them who recently played to crowds of 50k is now claiming benefits; I’m sure he’s one of many. I saw Drew play with a mate as a support act to a capacity of just 250 people a couple of weeks ago; it’s really really shit. I know times are hard, even those of us who are lucky enough to still be paid are helping their people with mortgages and bills, but if you are fortunate enough to have a spare tenner please buy a record. Any record. Donate to the live streamed gigs. They are on their knees and some of them won’t be standing back up.
Support your artist.

Dutch government sent a warning message to the nation via smart phone yesterday, not to go to the beach, park, not gathering together, to keep 1,5 meter distance from each other and to stay home after so many people went to the beach and DIY shop past Saturday. It worked, but unfortunately there's always some who don't care.
I just went to my backyard to get some fresh air. Sun is shining, yet freezing. A beautiful morning. Human being can't beat the nature.
Stay safe wherever you are everyone and try to make a best day every day!

Why the hell are you people in the UK still doing this?
We acted too late here in Italy, and look where we are now. Don't make the same mistake...

I live in a small-ish town. There are two small supermarkets here, but they constantly have a long queue outside. I cannot go to the nearby city because we're forbidden to leave our hometowns.
In the last three days I've checked multiple times but it's always the same thing: no way I'm staying stuck in a queue for two or more hours. It's dangerous and I don't have that much time to waste, but I think I'll have to, the fridge and the cupboards are almost empty. It's been more than a week since my last successful supermarket trip.

Harvey Weinstein has tested positive for the Coronavirus. How long until “Covid19 didn’t kill Harvey Weinstein’ is trending? I don’t believe it. There’ll be fake news that he died of it when really he’ll put himself and all of us out of our misery with an assisted overdose. Compulsive liar even in death. Good riddance, can’t come soon enough.

I don’t know if you can still let the stuff delivered at home at this stage in Italy right now and I’ m terrible sorry to hear that. I really do. Right now in The Netherlands nearly everybody orders stuff online and let supermarket delivered to home. There’s still plenty of stuff in supermarkets in the morning. I went to my local supermarket twice last week, but from this week I order foods (bread, vegetables, fruits, milk etc) and let them delivered. I avoid to go outside except my backyards. I believe that’s how the most people are doing over here. I always work from home anyway. My better half is the only person who I see and talk every day at the moment, but I take this than being in a danger for myself and others. People, please stay home. Even if you’re young, it doesn’t mean you won’t get contaminated. Think of your grandparents, elderly people, people with illness, doctors, nerses and all the key workers. At this minute there’s people who are fighting for their lives, who are working so hard to help them. Keep distance from each other and taking care for each other. carlober, stay safe and stay strong! I wish I could help you.

I live in a small Town as well, and my market thats Outside my neighbourhood has a method to buy via transfers you ask with whatsapp what you want to buy, they text you with the money you have to transfer, afterwards you send them the confirmation of your transfer. They give you the ok and then you go out and look for your stuff. No queues to be worried about. If you dont have a way to transfer you can use the market as usual but you have to queue and they take your temperature and give you some antibacterial for your hands.

These days are stressful. I have a mother who has multiple sclerosis and I fear that she might more vulnerable to the virus (even though I have no confirmation of it).

Thanks mimmihopps and Manualex! Fortunately my trip to the supermarket today was successful I've got plenty of stuff, the fridge and the cupboards are pretty much full so it should be enough for me and my better half for at least 10 days, I hope! Online orders are almost impossible at this stage. Most of the slots are full, yesterday the first available date was almost two weeks from now. And now... off to cook a nice pasta dish
