The biggest problem with the album is how fake it sounds. I liked it upon release, and still do, but the production is a bit overwhelming. I find that tracks like Why me? Why not, gone, once, the river, now that I've found you, shockwave, and halo all came off better either live or acoustically. I'm excited to hear that alright now and meadow may be getting an acoustic release. Anyways, does it come off better acoustically?

Well, I'm very satisfied with the album mix and I think the vocals are exceptional. The live version are not necessarily better, just different - apart from Be Still, which is too robotic for me, and Now That I've Found You because the non-electric version they tend to play is just very underwhelming.

The songs generally sound safe and generic both live and on record. I hope he has enough success with it to take more chances next time.

Love it live and on the record. The big sound with the great strings suits it perfectly.
