as an EP months later? I find myself getting bored of things to quickly when all of the tracks are released at once. Would you like it if he were to release the 3 bonus tracks + some live tracks 3 or 4 months later?

Invisible Sun was one of my favourite tracks from the release, so I probably would have found the album even more underwhelming if that and Misunderstood hadn't come with it.

I'm more saying in general, ignoring quality. If every song was equal, would you like to have it released as an EP in future releases?

Nah, definitely prefer getting them all at once. Prefer it to the Noel tactic of dripping them out as b-sides as well.

I buy vinyl records so it would mean I could own them physically.

Could work as b sides for the physical form
Btw "misunderstood" seems like a fan favorite (high in streams n youtube views)

Definitely, Glimmer should get a push as a summertime single maybe get it to appear in an advert.

Then we'd have a stupid situation like we have now with Noel's next EP.
The songs on the EP are all written, recorded and mixed - but we have to wait until March next year to hear it all. That's extremely annoying.

I'd prefer the 3 or 4 singles with 2 b-sides on each like the old days.

I’d agree with that point. Personally I’m fine with them as bonus tracks, as long as we get proper physical copies of the songs. I’m just surprised they bothered to make 2 CD editions. I’d have just pressed them all with the 3 extra tracks, or made the bonus version include a live gig or something more.

I buy vinyl records so it would mean I could own them physically. I agree with your general point and you probably know this already but you do get the bonus tracks on a separate disc in the WMWN box set. Better than the situation with AYW where you need to buy the 7s box to get the bonus tracks on vinyl

Better than the situation with AYW where you need to buy the 7s box to get the bonus tracks on vinyl I would have prefered to get the boxset but living in NZ it's not readily available. I could always buy it online but the postage plus the price of a boxset makes it not quite worth it for me.

Misunderstood is a tune.. It's a bit Misunderstood tbh its a song that if it was an album track we could see it as a single!in youtube it has more views than all the album tracks (except the singles) and in spotify its fighting the album tracks in streams! its a little bit longer but an edit could work great

It does bother me that Liam doesn't do B sides.

I really like the way Liam's doing it. B-sides are pointless in 2019 and to throw them out as an EP later in the year would only lead to people being setting themselves up for disappointment.

They're pointless from a business standpoint, But don't tell me you wouldn't like 3 or 4 new songs each album cycle.

How would they be setting themselves up for disappointment? Unless the 3 songs were terrible, which they never have been, I can't see disappointment.

The bonus tracks from BE were fantastic. Better than most of the album tracks.

How would they be setting themselves up for disappointment? Unless the 3 songs were terrible, which they never have been, I can't see disappointment. I think throwing them onto the end of a somewhat successful album as tracks that don't officially make the cut make them easier to swallow than isolating them, putting them into an artistic package, issuing a press release and us waiting for them to drop. Liam's bonus tracks (whether as part of Beady Eye or as a solo artist) generally receive a mixed to positive reception on this forum (I personally think they are quite poor) but I'd wager fans would be less pleased with them with additional hype and speculation.

I thought the AYW and WMWN bonus tracks were quite good, the ladder of which received a great reception. I think most casual fans would just be happy to see another release, especially the Oasis fans with tracks like invisible sun. Just my opinion though, I see your point.

I don't like deluxe editions with bonus tracks. I'd much rather get b-sides every now and then. Three reasons...
1. An album should be an artistic statement in itself, sticking extra songs on the end undermines that.
2. Aside from the tour, there's nothing to look forward to once the album drops.
3. Post-album singles would feel much less pointless.

Liam's music, tour and releases have turned safe, generic and commercialised. I'd love to se him break free from the chains of his record label and shake things up a bit to hit the right combination of quality control and authenticity. C'mon You Know x

Nah. I prefer full albums w bonus tracks and everything. I also like a standalone single or two in between that maybe doesn’t fit on a album but is worth putting out there so bring it on Liam
