What the heck ? Liam has Aussie backing singers Why no - now that I found you And Colombia ? Please bring them back . The Brisbane set looked a bit light sorry to say And yesterday only 15 songs. I remember this from the AYW tour and it is repeating itself. He starts his headline tour in the UK with 20-21 songs, and then it starts getting cut back one song at a time. By the time I saw him I was very lucky to get 17 songs, because sometimes he cut it back to 15 by then. Still worth it, but a bit of a pity that you never really know what to expect.

Yesterday's 15 songs was because it was a festival show not a headliner.

I’m seeing him in Melbourne, hope he doesn’t drop it. EDIT: Nevermind, just heard about the volcano. Very sad.

The set list looks locked in now - looks good with regards to Sydney
What time are all the local Aucklanders or New Zealanders going to drink on the day of the spark arena gig ? Do any of you want to meet before hand
I’m assuming well all be down the front anyway

Anyone who was in Sydney/Brisbane, how was his voice? My son went to the Berry Festival Concert and said he sounded great - was also in fine form interacting with the audience between songs. He's playing Melbourne tomorrow night and there's still good tickets left! I have that night off now so I was tempted to take my wife (she missed out on ever seeing Oasis live) but we have some childminding issues so I don't think it's going to happen.

So went to the Sydney show at the Enmore last night and it went off!
Liam's voice was fine but definitely started to get hoarse towards the end of the night, particularly when it came to the closer of Wonderwall.
Stray thoughts: - Gerry Cinammon was a great support act and the Scottish contingent in the crowd were hilarious, chanting his name to the 'Give It Up' song by KC and the Sunshine Band. But for one guy with an effects pedal and a lone bass player this guy knew how to give people a good time - There was an extraordinary amount of time devoted to setting up the equipment so that Liam didn't come on until about 10pm, which I thought was quite late - Watching Liam nowadays reminded me of what we as fans are missing from not having Oasis around. He still has that raw power and energy from literally just standing on the stage. And then when he did 'Morning Glory' and 'Stand By Me' as the first Oasis songs in the set (apart from 'Rock N Roll Star' as the opener), the crowd went off - Interesting juxtaposition though: I saw Noel supporting U2 at the Sydney Cricket Ground a few weeks ago and he asked the crowd 'Any Oasis fans here?' before playing 'Black Star Dancing' which I don't think most people there were familiar with. But Liam asked the exact same question 'Any Oasis fans here?' last night and launched into 'Stand By Me' and the place went absolutely mental - There was a 13 year old kid from Manchester in the moshpit and Liam gave him his shakers and got him up on stage for a few hugs - one of the many highlights of the night, for the audience and for the kid! - Piano version of 'Champagne Supernova' is just lovely
Overall a great night but if I could post any criticisms at all, it would be that it felt like because of the late start the set was cut short. Can't say for sure because I don't know what else he's been playing on the Aussie tour but it did feel a little rushed.
Also couldn't help but feel like it would be great if he could swap out a few people in his band for Bonehead, Guigsy and Whitey lol. Getting the old band back together who know the old stuff and can play it extremely well. Not disrespect to his current band but there's just something a little off about them live. The 3 backing singers crushed 'Once' though so for that song along I'd say they're a welcome addition.

Liam went past the 11pm curfew in Melbourne last night and they turned the power off midway during his last song Supersonic.

Just found out Liam's got another gig on Friday at 'Meredith Music Festival', never even heard of the town - let alone the festival and I don't know a single other act on the list. Apparently it is near Ballarat and one and a half hours outside of Melbourne, not sure how his management team found that one tbh!

It’s been around for 29 years! Haha. Look at some previous line ups, surely you must have heard of some of the acts

Previous line ups last few years I had only heard of a couple of acts each year, 5+ years ago there started being a few more I'd heard of - Seems a bit out of left field tbh!

Awesome gig last night, but a bit disappointed that he left the stage without even properly saying goodbye - No Champagne Supernova, No Gas Panic, only 15 songs and the set didn't even hit an hour. Still, fun as fuck and was brilliant to see him live.
