First date confirmed is the Shaky Knees festival, May 1-3rd.
April-May dates must be coming soon, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Coachella in there as well.

Give us a proper tour Liam, please! I’ve been lurking around this forum for ages waiting for a tour. Terminal 5 or it never happened. Two nights at Brooklyn Steel, T5 is terrible

I’ve never been but isn’t Brooklyn Steel too big for him? I’m seeing Angel Olsen there tomorrow night so I’ll get to judge for myself. Liam should play one night at Bowery Ballroom and tear the fucking roof off.

Bowery Ballroom would be mad! High energy.
Actually I think Brooklyn Steel is on the smaller side compared to T5 at around 1800 capacity.

He needs to play Hershey or Philadelphia I have a feeling he could sell out a concert hall, or at least get a decent crowd.

please play the east coast dates first. not two runs of the west coast and a string of cancelled shows on the east coast after.

How did the last US tour with Ashcroft do? I remember him not selling out the venue in San Fran but it was a decent turnout for a weekday gig.

I was stood in line and at 7pm someone came outside and announced the gig was cancelled. Something with the equipment if I remember correctly. Lots of people in the street though, he likely would’ve had a pretty full theatre that night.

I just paid my bill at the Firkin across the street when I checked my phone and saw twitter mentioning it, could not believe it. I was devastated.

How did the last US tour with Ashcroft do? I remember him not selling out the venue in San Fran but it was a decent turnout for a weekday gig. i was at the show at the fillmore philly. Btw i still dont know what the obsession is with naming venues "the fillmore" not in SF but i digress. the show was moved from the outdoor festival pier which has since been shuttered. the show was pretty full but it wasnt sold out. both liam and ashcroft were great. the show that should of happened was the first announced show that was supposed to be at the union transfer (capacity 1200). that show would have been at a smaller venue and it was real sold out. I also remember there being a sort of momentum building up to that show. that show would have no doubt been mental AF. there then was lull in which a few months passed and the album wasnt as fresh in the mind. i sort of felt the wind was taken out of it when it was cancelled. dont get me wrong i still enjoyed the fillmore show but union transfer would have been better. a boston show was also cancelled. i know b.c i couldnt cancel my flight and went and saw chris rock instead. that show would have been at the house of blues i think. that was also very sold out if i remember correctly. i did manage to see the DC spring show at the lincoln theatre which was very short. there was no opener as ashcroft didnt play that date. i think the show clocked in under an hour. an hour is fine for liam but at least have an opener go on before for like 30 mins or so. plenty of bands on the east coast would have loved to open for him i'd imagine.

I think Liam did an hour in San Fran too and frankly I felt ripped off a bit. I never was into Oasis during their heyday and I would've appreciated at least a 90 minute show. Also I was hoping for Wonderwall (not taking the piss, I love that tune) and didn't get that either. Ashcroft was fucking on fire though, just him and a guitarist, made me a fan for life.

Hell, even the Crystal Ballroom in Portland. Wonder Ballroom is awesome, too. Both great venues. Just anywhere that's not the Schnitz or (fucking) Roseland.

I know it's too small a place for Liam but imagine if he did a small concert in Mississippi studios? never gonna happen but the acoustics there are amazing.
