Not even a competition.
Liam with professional songwriters or Liam with songs by a washed up shoegaze star and the lead singer of the wretched Heavy Stereo? I’ll say one thing about Liam’s solo songs. Yes, they wear their influences on their sleeve but they are retro with a modern fresh feel and neither albums are full to the brim of tired plodders that already sound 30 years out of date. They don’t have the lung bursting choruses of Oasis (but nothing does these days) but the songs feel finished and tight.
A bit of professional glitz to add to his raw personality has done him wonders. A perfect match, great gigs, the voice is the best it’s been since the 1990s and the albums feel wholesome and complete. His team, and Debbie, have done the best for him and have got the best out of him. There’s a reason Beady Eye failed and this is succeeding - the personnel.

"Flick of the Finger" alone is better than Liam's two beige albums combined. The only thing that's improved is his vocal.

Ride may not be mainstream (they never were) but Andy's making his best music right now and both of Ride's comeback albums are better than Liam's. Ride's latest songs have had High Flying Birds beat on several occasions. I know you're just talking about how Liam's solo career is better than Beady Eye, which it is, but Andy isn't washed up by any means. He's making great music right now, in genres that showcase his talent the best. Getting someone like him to write generic lad rock was bad decision making by Noel.

I do think BE is highly underrated and if was Liam solo album would be considered in higher regard

Sorry to disappoint you Beady, but I stopped trying to make good polls after my "BOADC vs. GGTIA" poll because that's the only poll I made where I got you to say "Ooh tough one". Now that that's happened, it's time for me to now rest easy

The last two Ride records are really fantastic. Lannnoy Point (from the first) and Jump Jet (from the second) are up there with my favourite ever songs.
