I've only just found out about this. What a guy.
Loved the first question;
"can you get the verve back together?"
"I can't get my own band back together let alone anyone else"
:lol

There might be a video for "Once" at some point, according to Liam at least...

Maybe out of spite, Noel releases the Oasis MTV Unplugged on the same day. Blur vs Oasis style.

Liam always struck me as more of a Revolver guy so I’m surprised he lists Sgt Pepper as his favourite.

Hope Alright Now is being played live if he is talking about it being a potential single. I think it's a great tune.

I thought the AMA was a bit shit to be honest. Not much was said or confirmed, really.

I thought the AMA was a bit shit to be honest. Not much was said or confirmed, really. He needs to do it live on insta or whatever, not a chance he was typing those answers himself. Probably had a few questions read out to him and his answers were typed. He’d do a better job speaking his answers, let his humour come through. The AMA was very unremarkable, I didn’t even read it all. 10/10 to him for giving it a bash again tho.

It really needed Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane on it, in my opinion. If it did, it would earn it's title as one of the greatest album ever. As is, it's low on knockout tracks, as cohesive and colourful as the whole is.

Everything The Beatles did from Rubber Soul on was perfection. Three wizards and a criminally underrated drummer, combined with the greatest producer ever. I typically never speak in absolutes, but even the playful tunes are undeniably great. If you don’t get it, you just don’t get it. My condolences to the doubters.

Liam always struck me as more of a Revolver guy so I’m surprised he lists Sgt Pepper as his favourite. Unpopular opinion from me. Sgt Pepper is my least favourite record from Rubber Soul onwards. I don’t know where it ranks in the post-Beatlemania phase but I do think it is perfect and I love every song on it. Although largely seen as a McCartney album too, Lennon totally bought the vision of it and I think it’s underrated how much he contributed to the overall vibe. It’s the one album where I think the artistic merit and vision of Lennon/McCartney was at its peak, before their genius went off in separate directions on the following albums.
