I don’t mind them, and I think they get a lot of criticism but at the very least they serve Liam’s voice very well. For that, it’s better than anything post-97 Oasis for him in my opinion. What? Oasis mkII were brilliant live. I like Liam's band by the way, I think they've come a long way and are much better than the first time around. I’m just not a fan of Gem and Andy, it all seemed flat and soulless (those two definitely compared to the punky style of the original band members) but opinion might be tempered by Liam’s voice not being that great throughout Oasis Mk II. But make no mistake, I think he’s singing better than any time since 2000.

The problem with gem and Andy was not there playing it’s the sound the band adopted , when it got to the point where they became an established touring band the sound had to become more polished became a lot cleaner also used capos on everything , bone heads power chords were taken away

They're really talented, they just needed a great mixing.

Gem and Andy are very talented and I always preferred them to Bonehead and Guigsy. But Andy was wasted on the bass in Oasis.

Yeah, that's true. I think Noel definitely over shadowed Gem and Andy a bit with the sound of the band. It would have been quite interesting to see how they played other Oasis songs in Beady Eye besides the two which they did. But I think that they only really wanted to play their own songs mainly.

They've done a great job with Thames gig, especially the guitarist (his name is Mike, right?).
