It’s getting more and more drastic it seems. I wonder what the music world is gonna look like in another 5-7 years. Will people wanna do it and expect a career? Getting tougher and tougher. Legacy acts can survive but what about emerging or mid level bands? Good luck.

34 in NZ😢. I don't know how he is going to fill Spark arena this December. It doesn't suprise me though. I was at the stone roses in 2013 at spark arena and it was nearly sold out relax, the 'Oasis' tunes will bring in 12,000 easy

Not too worried about Liam’s bank account people will turn up and overpay their ticket just to hear Wonderwall and take crappy pictures.
The music business is in a sad state but then again for people who want to explore it’s never been cheaper. 9 bucks for basically everything is like being locked for a night inside a record store where you can’t steal anything. So can’t complain.

To all grumblers: A No. 1 is a No. 1 is a No. 1! It means you have sold/streamed/download the most in relation to all others. That's a succes IMAO. Btw who compares streaming, radio airplay, downloads, youtube clicks? I bet WMWN will look good in this diciplines! And don't forget No. 3 in Germany! I don't think that evem Oasis reached this!

wow just sad how some of you are sitting there trying to discredit the album, like what are you even doing with your lives? I'm glad as an oasis and Liam fan that hes got a number 1. If I was not a fan of someone (or if I preferred their brother x) I wouldn't go on their fan forums to shit out negativity.
Whatever flouts your goat man, I just think its a little sad, I wonder if you haters have sold any records yourselves. Don't know for sure but we can all take a guess.
Really glad Liams got another number 1, regardless of units sold. I personally believe this record will be held highly in years to come and (imo) its the best thing released by the gallagher's since the first hfb album. Replayability ie. views on youtube, plays on spotify etc. will prove how strong the songs are. Record sales are past though they still matter, for sure.

Liam and Noel are doing great. The problem is not that their albums are selling less. The problem is that the music industry is selling less and less every year. In fact, Noel's and Liam's albums sales are declining less that the industry average.

#1 worldwide in I tunes #1 in UK with 3rd best first week sales, n with biggest vinyl sales for an "old" act that streams, or radio airplay are not his strongest card. N doin better than everyone of his old class n better than most new "hot" acts. His throne is safe for years to come

"Just" be seen on youtube or spotify and people will come to your shows and buy your merch

Just checked the US, did Liam not debut in the top 200? Anyone know? It appears he did not make the top 200 from last week. I’m surprise at the amount of greatest hits I see in the charts (Beatles, Queen, Journey, Petty, Beach Boys, Billy Joel). All these compilations came out decades ago. I guess the streaming of popular albums on Spotify are getting these releases back in the charts. Maybe Liam didn’t get enough units moved because of the delay in albums coming to people who ordered the deluxe. Who knows.
