Such a lovely song. Some of Liam's most relaxed vocals ever. I love his voice on this album, relaxing decisive on point vocals. He's been really good recently and this song and album show that.

The start of this song reminds me of Boneheads Bank Holiday 😂

Top song. One of the best on the album. It's got much more depth then the rest. I read they some complain that it sounds like it's just words put in front of him. I disagree and think the opposite. Think the words flow perfectly for Liam. Good performance.
On FWIW it sounded like Liam was just reading of a paper that was handed to him 5 minutes before recording. Then the producers cleaned it up with Melodyne (auto voice correct). But on Alright Now it sounds great!

I think it's brilliant, and it's Liam's favourite track too. And we all know how good the Gallagher's are at picking the best songs are... we, hang on maybe I haven't thought this through ...

The start of this song reminds me of Boneheads Bank Holiday 😂 I was thinking yesterday how BBH would fit this album

All right now is like a tune by George Harrison from early eighties. Top tune from start to end.

I wasn’t that bothered with this one BUT it’s grown on me and that ending when it fades out with him slowly singing ‘At times I wonder if you’re listening, now I know, at times I wonder if you hear me, now I know’ is one of my favourite parts of the album. Agreed, that coda is also one of my favourite moments on WMWN.

Oddly I could hear this song being done more in the vein of Fade Away. Don’t know why. But it somehow reminds me of fade away Crazy thing to say

It was written by an American wasn't it? "Under billboard lights..." "When the lights go down on Broadway..." This is a good example of generic lyrics that mean as little to Liam as they do to us. Not feeling this one at all. Yes, truly only an American could find something interesting about invoking Broadway in a tune

It sounds like John Lennon and George Harrison coming up with something together circa 1978. Which means it's a fucking top tune and could potentially top NTIFY in the end, for me.

Definitely one of his best vocals ever. "When the lights go down on Broadway..." is one of the peaks of the album!
