Me too, and it's a LOT BETTER than the Spotify one. ^^ I thought this about Liam’s Once! The actual files seem so different, more going on. Anyway, that discussion was had on that thread and there was no evidence found by the tekkies on here. But I’m with you, streaming doesn’t have the same detail. Not important for 99% of music but for the songs you’re obsessed with only the best version will do. Not sure, but by default, Spotify quality is a bit less good than Apple music, i think you need to raise the streaming quality yourself. Best is still to buy cds and rip them lossless yourself

Me too, and it's a LOT BETTER than the Spotify one. ^^ It will sound even better once my copies of vinyl arrived. I bought the vinyl as well.

6, not bad but quite forgettable... I wonder what he's saving a song like Come On, It's Alright for.

It sounds like or reminds me of Second Bite of the Apple lol- to me anyway. Solid 7, but there’s something about Noel’s voice that grates on me a bit.

Best Noel song this year by far, nice vibes and melody. 8/10.

Listened a couple of times again. The 'tadadas' part is beautiful. Love the 'Never Met A Girl Like You Before' sweet sounds in the back. Funnily enough, Rattling Rose has the same melody on the chorus with the 'When you come along'. Still a solid 8 for me.

6, not bad but quite forgettable... I wonder what he's saving a song like Come On, It's Alright for. The reunion? It definitely needs Liam's vocals and I was thinking to myself this morning if Noel is even capable of writing more Lylas or Shock Of The Lightnings after embracing this new era 😎

Hmm
Weird one for me this. I'm on my third listen and it hasn't really grabbed me.
First impressions are a 6.5, to me.
It's instrumentally great though it just lacks something for me.

In an alternate universe, I'd love to have heard this as a late summer teaser for an Oasis Autumn 2019 Album. I can imagine being so excited. Just hearing Noel's lyrics and melodies would make me feel hyped for the concept of the album overall, imagining Liam singing other songs that would contain this kind of mastery from Noel.
It was an added element to listening to a Noel songs, hearing the craft and imagining how it'd also be worked into raising Liam to an epic level. Right now, listening to the song and knowing that this is it, takes the edge off slightly. A weird way to experience the song, but that is the truth for me.
It's cool though. It's got some poise and a little snarl and swagger in a way that flows better and fuses with the dreaminess.
I can't take groovy cool dad Noel, but slightly cocky and slightly dreamy Noel, is quite fun

Beautiful.
Would have fit perfectly in the new Tarantino flick. Has a very retro feel to it, in nothing but a good way.

I had this in my head when I woke up this morning which is always a good sign.
I’ve started to sing it and change the lyrics though. When getting dressed, I realised I haven’t done any washing for ages, so it became “Some socks are all I need to get by.”

Love it, solid 8 from me and the best from the EPs so far.
The structure reminds me of some songs from HFB#1, lovely melody but a bit more playful and with the production of WBTM.
I might end up buying this EP after all.

Solid 4. may be the worst of the bunch. It could grow on me, but I first listened to this like 10 hours ago and haven't listened to it again. Don't remember a thing about it. Don't really care to listen to it again, though I will force myself tomorrow to give it a few more "spins". Unfortunately this. I hate to say that I'm not even close to be hyped with this song, losing expectations of listen something new from Noel at each new release. It's nice to see some people praising and enjoying it instead of just complaints like it happened on BSD release (which I dig A LOT), but if I wanted to listen some stuff like this, I'd search for some post-2010 indie band, something which I rarely do.

What's annoying is that both EP's are not mastered at the same level, you cant play them back to back

I actually don't mind these EP's. I listen to those songs more than i used to listen to WBTM album, This Is The Place and Dream Is All I Need To Get By are pretty cool actually. Return to form in my opinion.

All I can think of is "this song would be incredible with an old-school Oasis circa-1996 arrangement".
Love the melody, love the lyrics, am fully over the self-conscious "experimental" production.

For me, RR was an absolute snoozer and bore of a song that had nice depth.
SO was a great song with little depth.
ADIAINTGB is a nice combo of both. And the badadada badadadada is stuck in my head. Great little song.
