Noel on Seth Myers was the most pointless interview he's ever done. Kids? Bono? Man City? Oasis? Done.
(Also fairly certain only host knew who he was...the audience was probably thinking "Is he gonna play Wonderwall??")

Eh, I can't remember the last time Noel did a sit down interview on an American late night show. It's probably been a couple decades. Can't hurt, might help.

It was definitely pointless but I’m kind of surprised how relatively well-behaved Noel was in this interview. He didn’t say anything controversial and they only had to bleep him out once, haha.

A couple of videos have been shared in YouTube. Not sure if it's the full interview. No new info, just anecdotes about touring the USA, Bono, relationship with his kids, etc.

The set background looks like the album cover of SOTSOG.........
Solid interview. Wish Oasis had this opportunity 15-20 years ago. It’s refreshing. Probably because Liam and Noel are funny dudes. Noel wearing dog tags is a tad cringeworthy. Ok, it’s full on cringeworthy.

I believe Noel is also going to appear on Sirius Radio on the VOLUME channel. Someone who works there tweeted a photo with Noel in studio the other day. Hopefully we get a nice hour interview.

(Also fairly certain only host knew who he was...the audience was probably thinking "Is he gonna play Wonderwall??") The interview was geared towards an American audience that for the most part doesn't know or care about Noel Gallagher. They had like 10 minutes to get a handful of predetermined topics in that were geared toward that audience. The point of the appearance was to promote the tour and the EP and it was done. Pretty standard for late night in the States.

The Italian guy's impression is accurate. Made me chuckle. I miss this kind of Noel interviews.

He was on one of the first Late Late Show with James Cordon episodes in 2015 and was on Jim Jefferies Show on Comedy Central in 2018 (though that was a pre-recorded interview). Both were traditional interviews and he did not play any music.

Noel is obviously joking about selling the master (unless he isn't). Just to be safe, should we start a collection on here so we can be ready in 4-5 years to try to out bid him? If we all start saving our pennies now, we might have no where near enough by then .

Who owns the masters now? And why Noel gets them, because he wrote most of them? I have no idea how that works.

A multimillionaire fan definitely needs to buy them when they go on sale, so we can make our own Be Here Now mixes! (Since Noel won’t beyond DYKWIM)

The Beatles did not sell their masters to Michael Jackson, he bought the Lennon/McCartney publishing rights formerly owned by Northern Songs, then ATV. Who owns the masters now? And why Noel gets them, because he wrote most of them? I have no idea how that works. The masters (=the recordings) are owned by Big brother Recordings (= Noel and Liam): beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/03897337The publishing rights (=the compositions of the songs, not the masters themselves!) belong to the respective member who wrote them and/or - depending on contracts we don't know - one or more publishers.

Yeah, I don't think he had ever done any actual stateside mainstream tv interviews prior to that aside from a brief segment on the proto-TRL "MTV Live" program in '97 plugging BHN. It seems like Americans in the entertainment biz have only recently caught on to the fact that he's funny as hell.
