Gigs or live streams? On the gigs, they definitely don't sound thin.
And no, I'm not going to link Noel doing 'Go let it out' as an example of thin sound.

All I got from that interview, is Noel thinks Liams Oasis covers sound thin. I couldn't agree more. Beady Eye had the same problem. go onto youtube and listen to "sad song" by liam from the live mtv unplugged in hull. i got chills listening to that once the crowd started going along with him. that is anything but "thin". he took noel's song and just owned it.

I honestly haven't heard the MTV unplugged, I'll give it a go. It's the electric full band covers where the backing band sound thin, on Rock'n'roll Star and Morning Glory for example.
