You can tell he's taking everything Liam has said and done very seriously. I think he has come to a point in life where he no longer want to associate with Liam anymore and he's genuinely content with his current life. It's really sad but that's the way it is.

Congrats noel for trying to act cool and for trying to promote your new ep talking shit about liam.
Disgusting.
"I don’t think I’ve ever been so embarrassed for a man in my entire life. He’s pulled off the incredible magic trick of making those Oasis songs sound weedy and thin. And he looked like he was having the worst day of his life, walking around in what looks like a pair of my son’s pyjamas, shouting into a mic about some perceived injustice ... if you can’t sing ’em, don’t play ’em!”
Said the man who tried to sing go let it out ffs

There's nothing funny in that interview and a load of bitterness.

Noel is a grumpy old man who lost his creativity long ago. Nowadays, he's famous for his insulting interviews and statements, not his music. Sad.

thanx, very interesting interview. Wise, wise man. From the interview how on earth is Noel a "wise, wise man"?

Just read it. Sad to read. I'm a huge Liam fan but jesus if he wants Oasis back together stop with the frickin anti-Noel crap. On the other hand some of Noels stuff he was saying about Liams music and the fans is pretty brutal.
Just a sad situation. Only 'good' thing is as fans we have a lot of music coming from both brothers

Yeah sure This interview is out today just to promote his single, but he almost never talks about this single Just talking shit about his brother playing glasto while he was in some festival in Holland Very very wise, isn't it? 🤔 Talk about music noel

Only 'good' thing is as fans we have a lot of music coming from both brothers The interview literally starts with Noel saying nothing he says should be taken seriously. The only thing that is is Liam. Not the fans. Not the comments on friggin global warming. Liam. He hates him. I've accepted it. I don't like it, but I've accepted that it's the case. Everything else is just Noel by the numbers so the faux outrage by some other posters - the usual suspects - needs to stop.

It's PR. Liam brings up Noel in nearly every interview. They both play off it because they both know that will get readers.

Great interview, pissed myself at the 'indie championship musicians' line.
Explains the Liam think well. Liam does sound like a dick when he slates Noel one minute then comes out with the 'my bags are packed' line.

It's sad when you put an interview on the same day of your new single and you barely talk about it and you just talk about politics and your brother playing glasto

It's sad when you put an interview on the same day of your new single and you barely talk about it and you just talk about politics and your brother playing glasto Just a reminder: Noel is being asked questions, he answers them. then the paper publishes whatever it wants, it's called an angle. The Guardian has zero interest about publishing an an interview focused on music. They want politics and feuds. They got it.

A horrible little troll. There was a time when I read and listened to every interview he did but now if he was telling his life story in my garden I'd shut the curtains.

Even the tagline is purposefully out of context.
I'm not blaming the Guardian. Because that will draw people in. Noel knows that too, that's why he said it, even though in the context he was making a comment about how random interviews are.
But people will just see that tagline and flip. And Liam will play off that. And the cycle will continue.
Everyone's to blame and yet blameless all at once.

Noel doesn't have stories like the German police pulling his teeth out, so they will ask about Liam and politics.
For a wider audience it's interesting I guess, for a fan it's boring.
