Surprised at how many people still listens to CD (not in a bad way, just surprised)
As for me I'd say 70% of what I listen is from Spotify Premium. It's really good for discovering new music and the quality is good enough for me. But of course it lacks bootlegs, rarities and demos, so I keep "collecting" on an external hard drive. I think people used to share more years ago (remember megaupload and rapidshare?) before streaming services were so popular. Things that were easy to find back then have become more and more rare (bootlegs from bands that aren't really big, demos, outtakes...) that's why I keep storing some of it, I think in the future some of that material will be really hard to find.
20% I listen on vinyl if I have time to sit down and concentrate on what I'm listening. And 10% on my laptop (downloaded bootlegs or YouTube finds).

Most of the time, I enjoy music on CD. Like some of the others here, I love having the physical copy and collection. I also like CDs because, although they’re not as good as vinyl, I can use them at home in the living room, in the bedroom, office space, at work, and in the car. So I like the versatility and having the actual artwork and all.
I have a lovely record player set but I don’t get to use it as much as I like because I like to relax alone when I do and sadly I get less time for that than I used to.
I get so much pleasure out of arranging my albums, I sometimes used to wonder if there’s something wrong with me!
I will check out new music on YouTube and if I like it enough I’ll buy a copy. I use iTunes sometimes but have no use for Spotify.

I know that, but morning_rain complained that it was more difficult to find this rare stuff than before, when on the contrary I find it much easier to get it thanks to YouTube, no need to search Torrents or expired Sendspace links.

Yeah and I agree with you to some extent. This days you don't have to register into forums or hunt for links to listen some rare stuff, but I think there used to be more material back then, not everything is on YouTube and most blogs are dead now. For example I used to be a huge fan of The Vines and I downloaded everything I could from them. Demos, studio sessions, b sides, unreleased songs, soundchecks... if I search for that material on YouTube there's still plenty of rare stuff, but not everything. And some of that material it's quite hard (near impossible) to find now. What if one day YouTube starts removing all that stuff?

Still buying CDs but ripping them as mp3s which I then put onto my smartphone. I've recently noticed though that most regular electro markets and many other shops have started to eliminate CDs from their product range.

Buying CS and rip them lossless, then it's on Itunes and played on Bower and Wilkins Px or Bower and Wilkins A5/A1, or the iPhone
The digital age is pretty cool that way. Listen to vinyls occasionally and Apple music when i dont have the record i want to listen to. the quality is pretty good.

I stream music on my phone. The only time I use my cd player is when I'm listening to my Oasis bootleg cds these days.
