Great vocals on Carnation indeed. In my top 5, Lube. It’s one I need to listen to most days. I love singing it too. Lube 😃

where's the love for Supersonic?! the way he sings n Def Maybe, the attitude in his vocals, laid back as fuck, is insane.

It’s hard to choose his best vocal performance without being swayed by favourite song choices, but I voted anyway. This one wasn’t included, anyone having it? It's interesting how similar his voice is there to right now...

Can't say for sure cos my preferences tend to change with seasons. As it is often stated, his peak was during the mid-90s and I ain't saying different, being honest yoy can find most amount of stability in his vocal performances during that era, eventhough there's been many great times every once in a while since.
My personal choice at the time would be BHN-era: Fade-in-out particularly, both live(G-mex for example) and in-studio. Great powerful rock rawness but still pinch of that "nightingale" familiar from previous times. As Bonehead described it I think it was that Definitely Maybe 10th anniversary doc.
Also Stay Young and My Big Mouth should get my mention, I think it's brilliant the way Liam is just about to crack his voice but still just about hits the high parts, that what made/makes him very unique and special and to which I once fell deeply in love.
btw. Watching what everyone's voted I'm glad to see Listen Up and Slide Away doing great there, both of that "nightingale-era" and just cracking job. The songs sound a-bit alike so I bet they're done during the same studio-day in a row? What do you think?

Like a few here I find it very hard, as its influenced by how much you like the song.
However, my choice narrowly goes to Lets All Make Believe, because of all Liam's top vocals, i find that one is the most crucial to making the song such a classic. Its the only one of my favourites where i didn't find the demo that great at all.
Runner up would be Listen Up, although this may be swayed by the fact that its my favourite Oasis song.
Honourable mentions; Slide Away Rockin Chair Don't Go Away

Wonderwall.
One of my favourite vocal performances ever, it never loses it's ability to feel enigmatic and powerful even as the song gets played for the twenty-billionth time.

Wonderwall, Slide Away, Champagne Supernova, Let's All Make Believe, Rocking Chair, Listen Up, Stand by me... Too many. In my opinion his peak is between what's the story and be here now. But I love his voice on HC, the snarling album! Stop Crying Your Heart Out gives me shivers every time.

It may not be the most impressive performance, but I’ve always loved his vocals on World Outside My Room. It’s just perfect for that song.

For me this Live version of My Big Mouth is one of his best vocals. If the album version would be remastered like D'you know what I mean, I think that would be one of his best vocals. But in the original release the mix pushed his vocals into the background.
