Still no sniff on if this is rescheduled or not? It's nearly April! I need news They'll be giving it as long as possible to try and get it to happen. Glasto had to go early I guess cause of the contractors and construction needs. They do gigs at Heaton Park every year so sure it's just a standard few days to set up. Hope against hope for all the people that have tickets (I don't) that it goes ahead but, realistically, it's not looking good.

Update from LG on Twitter:-
I'm absolutely gutted that Heaton Park has been cancelled due to the youknowf*ckingwhat. We're gonna have to wait to get together another time, it'll taste so much sweeter when we finally do. Stay safe, wash yer hands, scrub yer toes, scratch your ass and pick yer nose. LG x

Is it a money back situ or is it being rescheduled?? Said cancelled so I imagine you should get money back. It can only be rescheduled to later in the summer I suppose and then there's just the same risk of it being put off again.

Is it a money back situ or is it being rescheduled?? Cancelled. But you will get priority access for Liam's next MCR show.

Gutted but for the right reasons.
Our original hotel cancelled on Tuesday and we got rebooked into another but thatβs been cancelled today too.
My mate is waiting for the confirmation of train tickets to be cancelled / rebooked soon as well.

I guess it was inevitable it wouldn't go ahead. For the best. Absolutely gutted!
What's Liam got lined up for the rest of the Year? Do we expect a Manchester date to be during 2020?

I guess that you won't see any large crowds at a concert in 2020.

Gutted but it's the right decision.
Thankfully we'd been fannying about and hadn't got round to booking hotels/flights yet so at least we don't have that hassle to deal with.

I guess it won't go ahead this year either. Infact it's hard to say when it will.

I reckon it'll be a miracle to see any gigs this year, let alone 40,000 people in a field.
Still can't understand why he was booked as some pre-festival warm up at Heaton Park, should have been nailed on for the Etihad. Unless he himself considers it hallow turf and it's all about the "big O" for him.

It's just a shame and unfortunate how everything is at the moment.

I think Glasto cancelling is the start of the end of gigs in 2021. Also- the 1975 have already said they're not gonna be doing anything, and basically that's gonna continue to happen (they're the only arena level band I've seen doing it so far).
Usually the big summer shows are on sale for the Christmas market, and there's not that much buzz.
I think the best thing this summer will be support your local boutique festivals, if they're going ahead. Less travel, smaller numbers, boost for local traders, food vendors etc.

I doubt very much that there will be any live gigs for a long time yet unless there's any online concerts. But it would be great if Glastonbury do decide to do an online festival this year though and if it goes ahead then I really hope that both Liam and Noel take part.

I already called in a refund on my Ozzy Osbourne & Judas Priest ticket because it had already been rearranged 3 times previously and I hate to say it, but I'm not sure the Ozz man will be able to complete the dates.

The ticketing agencies are really holding people over a barrel with their actions. It's gotten to the point where I've forgotten what I've got tickets for.

The setting up needs to happen on a huge scale way before. I think there is still hope for smaller ones yet.

I have quite a few gigs on the cards, all of them smaller venues and arenas. I am losing track when and where I am going! All being rescheduled at different times and never offering a refund. Cast for example, via Ticketmaster, just rescheduled from this May until Feb 2022!
