This could go one of two ways... they either cut most of the new songs (except Once) or they cut most of the Oasis tracks (and for some fucking reason keep Natural Mystic). We'll be lucky to see 10 tracks on the show. Cutting the new songs would make no sense at all. It's a concert to promote WMWN, and not Oasis' past catalogue. I'm pretty certain Stand By Me will make the final cut. It's a hit. Sad Song is not, it has a high chance of being cut. If the concert is released in only audio version later, then i think we will get to listen to the full set then. It makes sense for them to release the whole thing later. All the fans want it, so why not?

Everything is just spot on. Magical. If Liam doesn't have the backing singers for his tour, he will be missing a trick, big time.

Why are they putting out songs that were already acoustic. Doesn't really do it for me, nice performance though.

Liams voice has been seriously edited on this mtv gig which is disappointing In what way? He seems as good or maybe even a bit worse here than on Jonathan Ross. Was his voice shit at hull? Seems everyone who was there said he sounded amazing.

They do that for every tv music special since it became doable whenever that was. They would do it for Noel also. Move along Unreal the amount of Salty and Butthurt LG haters that surfaced in the past week on this forum. In what way? He seems as good or maybe even a bit worse here than on Jonathan Ross. It's such a weird thing to complain about. A little post production on the vocals isn't going to magically make him sound incredible, they do it to just enhance the vocal a bit which only benefits us as the viewers.
He proved on Ross he doesn't need it.

If he thinks that it’s been edited then so be, I don’t hear it personally but I’d imagine that they fix some of the distortions.

Still think that’s the 3rd best live version of Once.

Strangely I thought he sounded smoother on Once at the actual gig! I wasn't there so I wouldn't have any way of knowing. I think he sounds great here, if a bit hoarse. Can't really say he's sounding more polished or better than at this gig for example. Can understand it's a let down for people who were there and want a 100% authentic recording. But if adding some reverb, or pitch correcting a bit here and there, makes it sound better I have no problem with that on a professionally produced and recorded show. Dry recordings straight from the soundboard tends to sound shit anyway since it's completely different mixing for a live gig than a broadcast or live record. Saying that, I don't think many people at all would say his voice sounds touched up, unless maybe having been at the gig, since his voice sounds great but not really better than many of his other better performances caught on cellphones or live streams these past two years. Unless people here brought it up I would have no idea. At least it's no where near as bad as the Bethnal Green Absolute Radio broadcast.

He sounds rougher than the Bethnal Green gig which is somewhat noticeably editted, the unplugged will be no exception to one off gigs getting tuned but I think people underestimate how a good echo and acoustics can smooth out a voice.

I think people underestimate how a good echo and acoustics can smooth out a voice. It even made some gigs between 2005 and 2014 sound tolerable. Hell, Liams best vocals during that entire period was caught in Lord Don't Slow Me Down when he's warming up his voice before a gig. An echo-y corridor (or bathroom) elevates Liams voice as much as Hull City Hall. So he still has somewhere to go if his voice and career goes down the drain.
