Not from last night, but it's pretty well known that there is a Liam version of Sad Song recorded in 1993. Go on YouTube and type in Liam Gallagher Sad Song. Well known that is a fake. Could Liam k ml personation but it's been well documented that is not Liam singing sad song in that video. There is no recording of Liam singing Sad Song. Its on the Supersonic doc.

I'm a massive supporter of Liam playing classic Oasis, but very very pleased with yesterday's setlist. Also means he could theoretically issue a 10 song album version (none Oasis complications). Wall Of Glass Greedy Soul Bold For What It's Worth Now That I've Found You Why Me? Why Not One Of Us Natural Mystic Once Gone If he's cutting songs I think he'd cut Bold because he didn't sing it properly

I'm sure it was Bold where at Glasto where it sounded like his timing was off.

I think it's the way the lines are. It's probably easier for him to take a breath then go for a sustained high like in Shockwave or The River than to suddenly jump up like in Bold.

I really do not understand why that version of Sad Song with Liam singing lead is considered to be a fake. It's clearly him. Just listen to the pre-Definitely Maybe demos - Life In Vain etc.

Even though Bold's a great song, he should just cut it now. I'd rather hear either new songs or other older material than listen to him not sing Bold in the right way!

Its on the Supersonic doc. And Mat Whitcross has said it was on a tape given to him by Mark Coyle, who could not remember where or when it was recorded. Safe to say that it was probably some time in 1993.

Where's that awesome lad who said he'd share Sad Song from last night? I hope Warner hasn't gotten to him already

It’s been a very awkward listen for some time now....as was said above he just can’t pull his chest voice up to the high notes and he won’t attempt a head voice...shame but there it is

Unless the guy who uploaded Stand By Me got told not to upload any more songs or they'll suspend his account or something?

Good times right now. Liams on fire, the 3 singles so far are really good. New album on the way, great press from Glastonbury, this MTV Unplugged as well. Tour on the way, all is good, hope it continues like this.
The' dark' years after Beady Eye were bad with Liam not touring/doing new songs etc. His management team/songwriters have done a top job. Huge new wave of younger fans liking Liam as well

I'm gonna see him at every opportunity - you never know when it all might end so I'm gonna make the most of this purple patch.

He really does need to do more gigs like this. More with their own character and uniqueness.
Because theres a certain soul lost in him just whipping out Roll With it/Lyla with the normal band.
The impact of Stand By Me is x1000 because its got an orchestra at an event like this.
If he'd have just played it with the band on the AYW tour, itd just become like the other Be Here Now songs.

LG is so much better when there are more musicians like the horn players or backing singers. I keep thinking about how great Be Here Now with the horns at Reading compared to a regular band version
