arsenal has an average team and an average coach, so they do pretty much as expected. Our squad is definitely top four material. And it’s definitely a much better squad than AW had in his final two seasons. And yet Emery is doing arguably worse than AW’s final 50 PL matches. Emery Out. Defensively you have a top four team?

My team is losing, battered and bruising. I see the high fives between the bad guys. Leave with my head hung, Guendouzi’s the only one who seems to care.
Arsenal stories, burning before me. I'm feeling helpless, the geezers are depressed. Boys will be boys, then where is that Wenger man? Emery is scared.

Anger aside, this is the saddest I’ve ever felt about the Arsenal. We are so terribly lost.

Remember Juande Ramos at Spurs(07/08 I think)? Emery’s just Ramos 2.0 - won Europa Leagues/UEFA Cups at Sevilla benefitting under a good setup but failing miserably in bigger jobs. Would you take Rodgers as Arsenal manager? I’ve always liked him - not a great manager - but someone who I think is overall a very good manager and good at laying foundations for better things.

Yeah, I wanted Rodgers to have replaced AW in 2018. Don’t see it happening though.

We are on par for a 53 point season at this rate. That would equate to a 9th place finish based off of last seasons table.

If you put me as an inexperienced pilot and the plane was going down, would you give me more time or find someone on the plane with more experience (co-pilot, experienced passenger, etc)? Asking for a friend.

Looking at the matchups for this weekend, a win could see us pick up points on many of our rivals.
Saying that, this is Arsenal. 😔

Poch to Arsenal, anyone?
If you thought Sol Campbell to Arsenal made those mugs’ heads explode, this would be even more hilarious.

Mourinho joining Tottenham, is the villain joining our arch rival - it’s going to really amplify and electrify the North London Derby.

If you told me at the start of the season that we’d be ahead of Spurs and Man Utd going into December I would have bitten your hand off.
If you told me at the start of the season that we’d be below Leicester, Wolves, Sheffield Utd, and Burnley going into December I would have sacked Emery back then. Rubbish. #EmeryOut

I’d have problems taking a manager who would quit his current club mid season despite doing really well and sitting second. And what would make him not do the same and quit on us if Barcelona et al come calling? I want Rodgers. But it has to be done correctly - at the end of the season. matt

But it has to be done correctly - at the end of the season. mattIt is a concern about loyalty if he ever jumped ship like he did with Celtic for Leicester. He does play the game in the right way though and with the right players he gets great results. Just don’t give him control over transfers - that’s what did it for him at Liverpool (the best players during his time there were ones he had no say over), and even though he won everything at Celtic, he left a bloated squad. Always liked him though, and allow a DOF to preside over transfer strategies, then he’d be a good fit. He’d work wonders with a lot of the youngsters too, as he has done everywhere he’s gone.
