Fake account from The Sun to add more tension? Don't know if it was mentioned but it seems all her tweets are gone. Some of them are deleted but still quite a few of them are still there.

Someone off here? Embarrassing. Please remind that We have no source nor information if it was a member of this forum or not and We don't know where this rumour came from. Cheers.

The S*n, Daily Mail, Dan Wooton, whatever - their reputations precede them and that is how they will be judged; they are nothing but shit stained sewer rats. For that reason, we’re all best to ignore it. Let Liam and Debbie settle things over their squabble for themselves privately, as they’d most definitely want. Totally agree in an ideal world any level headed person would do exactly that. But theres more to it than that. Its the long term effect this has on Liam's career. Like i alluded to earlier in the thread, im incredibly surprised this has gone pretty much unnoticed in terms of "trending" on any social media. I expected to wake up to this plastered over every platform imaginable. But this has stayed pretty much just around the tabloids (albeit that is still potentially damaging enough). I dont know, it just doesnt feel like they'll stop at this. There seems to be more to come (no matter how desperate they get). I hope theres another statement or interview before the upcoming gigs. I think the long term effect on Liam's career will be very limited IF there's no more in this story and they succeed in legal confrontation with the sun. It's of course nothing more than my impression and pure speculation. But we're in the "metoo" era, if there was facts that journalists could publish they would, they didn't, so I'm encline to think they don't have much certainty about anything, at least for now. I've checked french papers recently and only the french version of the huffington post talked about it, and choosed to title on the fact that Liam denies accusation (but to be honest, these idiots litteraly transcript the sun bullshit without even mentionning Debbie's statement...) I don't even think that french "tabloids" reported it, while they do little stories about Gallagher's from time to time without bothering checking anything, so it they're careful on this case, it's probably for a good reason I think. Actually press about Liam was pretty good this week end after the rock en seine festival. One article in Le Monde "Liam Gallagher celebrating Oasis at Rock en Seine", "Liam Gallagher replays history" in Les Inrocks, something on France Info because he dedicated a song for Noel... Even this www.lemonde.fr/m-actu/portfolio/2018/08/25/le-grand-defile-de-liam-gallagher_5346148_4497186.html which is "analysing" Liam's fashion over the years. So in France at least, the impact if close to nothing for now apparently. But Liam is not as popular here than in England, so I guess it's not completely relevant. I don't know if there's more, it seems weird for me to believe that the sun would let the story fade away a little bit if they had something to release on top of it. Don't see why they would wait, but maybe they have a shitty reason and a shitty plan with some kind of shitty logic, who knows ? Thing is we can speculate in every way, we can't be sure of anything as long as this story keep going. We just have to wait.

I think this story has been completely eclipsed by the Roxanne from CBB story now as it's getting the reaction that they want. Again, it's weird how this barely got any attention while "Roxanne" was trending practically all night, and people are still talking about it. Even looking after the Loose Women show yesterday they tweeted out a domestic violence link and all the comments were about Kim Woodburn, not about Liam and Debbie. I was fully expecting massive social media uproar about the whole thing with Liam.

If there was real proof that Liam Gallagher was an abuser then every paper and news channel would be all over it. While he's not to everyone's taste as an artist there is no doubt he is a massive celebrity. If they aren't touching it, its because they know there is no proof and they will get sued for Libel.

The Sun have pretty much failed to make this in to something huge and fuck Liam's career because there is no doubt it was their intention to try, absolute scum of the earth.

I wonder when either of them will be spotted, Liam has a gig in Berlin on the 9th, I can’t imagine him getting a warm reception. Isn't Liam supposed to be headlining Pilton Party this Friday? It’s happening, stage time 9.45pm.

Maybe the majority don't think there is much in it or don't care or have no trust in the rag, most probably a combination of any of those. On the other hand you have a situation in CBB of a participant in the incident accusing the other with much better video therefore prompting stronger views.

Liam is not only one of the biggest music stars in the country, hes also one of the most divisive with so many usually ready to bash him about literally anything. On fan pages and general social media, i see hundreds of posts of liam related pictures and quotes a week and i begrudgingly started to read the comment sections expecting a torrent of abuse but theres been absolutely nothing at all. Id love the reason to be that people can just see this for what it is and arent giving it the time of day, but i cant actually work it out.

Debbie was so smart to frame it as sexist. If the pop culture journalism "thought leaders" subscribe to the believe women maxim, then running with a story painting Liam as abusive conveys they do not believe Debbie. Game over.

Not gonna give the vagina the satisfaction of posting the links, but Dan Wootton has just written TWO more articles tonight.
One of which is so cringeworthy its unreal. Basically a whole article on how he exposes celebs who lie. It sounds like the rantings of the most insecure man ever.
The other is apparently Debbies friends have called their relationship toxic for a while. With no quotes and no one named.
When will this vagina give up?

I wouldn't call them very good friends if they are chatting to the Sun about Debbies relationship behind her back. Not that it's true mind. I remember similar remarks being made back in 2014 when they first got together, don't recall if it was the sun, but the jist was that Debbie was an idiot for getting involved with Liam cos he was a lost cause and was going to hurt her. Anonymous friends being referred to as the source.

Its like giving a monkey a machine gun. Go ahead and try to ruin careers, expose people losing their jobs, marriages ending and then brag about it? Its phycotic.

I'm pretty sure wifebeaters is an audience the Sun target so will be more than happy with the articles. The worst they have to do is pay Liam a bit of money and print an apology hidden away so won't care. They should have to devote the same amount of the paper to an apology as they used to print the original story imo.

Not sure about this, tried to have a look but screen on phone is not good enough resolution. Would add a whole new level of shit to the whole affair though.

That Dan Wootton prick was probably at the gig and booed him. And then he will write in The Sun the next day that Liam suffered a HUGE backlash from ANGRY fans!

Has anybody seen the Celebrity Big Brother story of the last day or so? It's being unquestioningly reported as "man punches woman in the gut" when the video makes it very clear that it's a playful tap.
Interesting to see both of these stories appear in a week, the tabloids frothing and the broadsheets refusing to touch them. I'd suggest the reason is that both stories are wildly out of context to the point that printing them is a legal risk. That doesn't really matter to the tabloids because they're making money out of them, because it sells to their audience, whereas reporting them won't get the broadsheets any more readers and carries the risk of legal action.
