Was it filmed for a possible release? Or just for the side screens? It would be nice if one of these big gigs get a release, along with that documentary. I was thinking about how good it would be for there to be a double release of the documentary and this gig as a sort of the full year long comeback

Top gig but my least favourite of the four times I’ve seen him solo. I think that was down to the size of the venue, plus I thought the sound was too quiet - especially for Richard Ashcroft. Still top though. Quite mad how he’s captured the youth. I felt old at times and I’m only early 30s

I imagine the documentary will have footage from LCCC and Finsbury. Would be cool if they did a There and Then style highlights DVD with the best from both shows.

Brilliant night, been to a few and I’d put this one second after Finsbury. What a crowd! Champagne Supernova was interesting, obviously not rehearsed as no band but was a welcome change, more of a sing song than acoustically perfect. No Slide Away 😢 and i was hoping for Come Back to Me as it’s my favourite from the album, he brought it back last week. Seemed much shorter than Finsbury, dunno. Liam’s voice is the best I’ve heard it and the band are sounding great. Ashcroft, wow - on another level. Incredible. Can’t wait for his album and definitely gonna try to get to at least one of his gigs in the Autumn. I think come back to me should be at every gig, a staple solo song live. It’s too good to miss off and could easily replace an oasis track making the set seem a little less nostalgic

He’ll never ever ever drop Rock n Roll Star, maybe he could lose What’s the Story and Cigs n Alcohol but they lift the crowd which is what he wants. Come Back to Me and I’ve All I Need are incredible but maybe he doesn’t think they fit. Personally I’d like to see Wall of Glass dropped for Come Back to Me to be given the spot it deserves. As an addendum to my previous post- my legs are destroyed!

What a fucking gig, what a fucking night aka...what a life!
Got there when doors opened, so we were right at the front, which was especially handy later on when security were handing out water at the barriers- twas bloody boiling!
Twisted wheel were a great starter
Bugzy malone was fabulous
Ashcroft was surreal
Liam was...I can’t actually put it into words tbh, was so emotional. I saw him last year and that was legit a dream come true, but this was on another level. Fucking lost it when the guy was playing champagne supernova on the keyboard, then Liam doing it by himself, fucking hell that was something special to witness. And listen up? In the flesh?? I mean it was just perfection, can’t believe I’ve got to hear that live. Soul love as well was fucking fantastic.
His songs were making the place go off as well as the Oasis songs, not a fan of FWIW but it really is a great crowd pleasing sing song. Cigarettes and alcohol made the place go fucking ape where I was stood, nearly got crushed to death by a load of bald men that came out of nowhere lol, heard him sing wonderwall for the first time since he didn’t play it last year- I mean say what you want but that shit’s magical- and live forever, bonehead’s son came out and joined for that so that was nice.
Also shout out to whoever hired that plane to fly around the stadium during bugzy malone with a banner that said “Eleanor will you marry me?” didn’t think people did that shit in real life, hope she said no to such a wank proposal x
Honestly can’t express enough how amazing that was, one of the best nights of my life, nice one Liam x

Who's the guy playing guitar on Live Forever with Bonehead? Jude, his son. A very talented all-round musician.

Will be interesting to see which ones he keeps from As You Were when the new album is toured.

Wall of Glass seems to get the best crowd response from As You Were, along with FWIW so those are probably keepers into the next tour. I wouldn't mind seeing Bold and Wonderwall dropped in favor of CS. LF should stay but a full band electric version would be a nice change.

I'm surprised how much I enjoy that piano version of CS. If you're not going to have the guitar of the original then I think this is a great way to do it, almost says it is leaving those guitar parts to Noel.

As much as i loved Finsbury, this tour feels very tired to me now.
Hes looking tired and a bit out of shape. I dont think wearing shit stone island coats helps him one bit either. And the voice is tired now (albeit still better than anything post 2005).
Im even getting tired of Live Forever. Im sure it was different being there, but that video should have been so emotional with the added guitars and synth but it was just a bit meh. Compare it to One Love and you realise this tour has gone quite past its sell by date and then some.
I will be dissapointed if in a couple of years the set is still full of Rock n Roll Star, Morning Glory and Wonderwall.
Was really dissapointed to hear him say that no one gives a fuck about Oasis songs aftee 97. Stuff like Hindu Times, SCYHO, Lyla, Songbird etc are just as played on my Itunes and im sure that goes for the vast majority of fans. It'd make a much needed change to the set to include latter day Oasis tunes.

You gotta leave then wanting more...
