And getting stick in the comments on oasismania’s instagram. Can never please everyone but I think he sounds good. Yeah I saw that, they posted the same vocal earlier and people were praising how good he sounded.. no ones ever happy. He sounds so much better, especially compared to some of the gigs in Australia. Some people are never happy

God...what an honest matter of fact summary from Noel....I’ve not heard that before......he has to be pleased that liam’s turned it around and can give such a good a performance of sms as he’s just done.....acoustically too leaving nowhere to hide....he just has to....

Liam standing up doing acoustic says a lot too. He always refused to before. On BE he just wouldn’t

Yeah no doubt Noel must be happy for Liam's vocal recovery. While Liam's voice can still ebb and flow, it sounds brilliant in this performance of Some Might Say. No doubt I'll be listening to this loads over the next few days. I really liked his performance of it for BBC Radio 2, but I think this version is even better. Now I just have to hear it live and I can die a happy man!

That interview is from Japan in 2000, where in fairness, Liam's vocals had taken a sharp decline in the previous few years, certainly in terms of range and tone. It's a fascinating interview that, because Noel doesn't seem that confident for once...it's about 40 minutes long, he's wearing an adidas tracksuit I think. What is this Oasis Interview channel that's popped up by the way?!

But don´t tell Beady’s Here Now about it or he might create a topic about the reunion being imminent.

Like that 'Beatle stories' account on Youtube that has some good stuff, but sensationalist headlines that are misleading.

Do you think they'll do their studio magic on Liam's voice before they release the whole thing? I sure hope not! That rawness in the SMS video is one of a kind. I also hope Liam will keep this look..it suits him and even makes him look younger and thinner...that buzzcut-cleanshaven-look was okish. This is great.

This was after Liam struggled with SMS at Jools Holland and the first night in Japan in 2000 (they played DYKWIM? as well).

What is the third track that Noel had written for what became HC? Hindú Times and Force of Nature seems to be two of them. And LOL Magic Pie being the highlight of BHN

SOTSOG sessions: - Noel went to France a week before the rest of the band. While he was there he wrote two songs for a film that had Jude Law in and he'd been asked to do part of the soundtrack. One of those songs was Force Of Nature (which I believe got used), the other was Little By Little. They were both demo'd in France. - Noel also wrote 'It's A Crime' in that session, which later of course became Let There Be Love. - The Hindu Times was written after the recording of SOTSOG, but some time before this interview (March 2000). It's definitely the demo he refers to

Never quite understand posts like this. I’m happily biased and blinkered towards my favourite thing in the world which is Liam and Noel Gallagher’s music? Give me the sky blue tinted headphones any day? Who want objectivity in fandom?
