House candidate McCarthy has called the First Lady a hoebag. Gets away with it. Imagine if a GOP candidate did the same to Michelle Obama. Unhinged.

George W. Bush stopped golfing when we went to war with Iraq out of respect. Did he get praised for that, of course not. GWB is a war criminal just as Trump colluded with Russia. What a joke. Then came Obama who golfed while involved in not just Iraq but also Syria and Libya and got a free pass. Brilliant. The guy commits an undeniable war crime and you're upset that he didn't get enough praise for taking a break from golfing?! That truly is some Fox News level of deluded nonsense right there. You know what would have been respectful? Staying the fuck away from the Middle East, sparing the lives of American soldiers as well as countless lives of innocent civilians. At the very least he should have went there himself, risking his own miserable ass.

I'm looking forward to the Manafort trial starting tomorrow. DT will have a proper meltdown if anything incriminating comes out. *gets popcorn machine ready. You do know that Manafort is about taxes and nothing to do with Russia, right? yeah. Doesn't mean it won't cover his time working for DT. Not expectin much but after all this time investigating it'll be interesting to see what they can actually get to stick. If nothing else it'll show how thorough Mueller has been and if he nails the first one then other people will start getting twitchy. Need something to watch until the football season starts again.

House candidate McCarthy has called the First Lady a hoebag. Gets away with it. Imagine if a GOP candidate did the same to Michelle Obama. Unhinged. If you want to talk about GOP candidates, let me bring up a few of them currently running for office this year. Russell Walker is a white supremacist whose personal website is littered with the N-word. He has said that Jews "all descend from Satan," "God is a racist and a white supremacist," and that women are the weaker sex “because today white Caucasian women are much more willing than men to accept non Israelites—muds, ‘blacks’, ‘nigras’ etc.—in the voting booth and in bed, than are Israelite men.” Just last month, he was interviewed on Stormfront's podcast. He won the GOP primary for the state House of Representatives in NC. John Fitzgerald is running in California's 11th district. He is an avowed Holocaust denier who has appeared on multiple neo-Nazi podcasts. One one of those podcasts, he said, "Everything we’ve been told about the Holocaust is a lie. My entire campaign, for the most part, is about exposing this lie." He has also claimed that Jews were behind 9/11 and the slave trade. He finished second in the GOP primary, winning 23% of the vote. However, since California allowed the top two finishers to qualify for the general election, he will be on the ballot in November. The California Republican Party endorsed him before criticism forced them to rescind it. Or how about Arthur Jones? He won the GOP primary for Illinois' 3rd congressional district… even though he previously was the leader of the American Nazi Party. Hell, his campaign website features a section titled "Holocaust?" Let me repeat: an avowed Nazi is running for Congress. As a Republican.Corey Stewart is the Republican nominee for Senate in Virginia. He has deep connections to the organizers of the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville—you remember, the one where the "alt-right" marched with MAGA hats and tiki torches, chanting anti-semitic and racist slogans, and running over counter-protesters with their cars, killing Heather Heyer? Yeah, that one. He's been vocal about not tearing down Confederate monuments, calling the activists behind those calls "the real racists." He pals around with (and publicly endorsed) Paul Nehlen, a GOP member currently running for Paul Ryan's seat who is so racist that Twitter banned him. He was endorsed by Donald Trump on Twitter, nonetheless. So, as you continue to clutch your pearls, there are literal Nazis, white supremacists, and racists running free within your party… and you absolutely refuse to care or do anything about it. Because they can do whatever they want so long as they have an (R) next to their names. edit: Got a new one for you. Steve West won the Republican primary for the state's House of Representatives. That's great and all, except he hosted a radio talk show where he said things such as, "Looking back in history, unfortunately, Hitler was right about what was taking place in Germany. And who was behind it." He has also spoken of "Jewish cabals" that are "harvesting baby parts" from Planned Parenthood, abuse children, and control the Republican Party. His YouTube channel is chock full of homophobia, antisemitism, Islamophobia and racism, too.

Literally the only reason “the left” knocks Trump for golfing so much is his hypocrisy on the matter. Trust me when I say we’d LOVE it if he golfed even more.

If the Dems win gains but fall short of taking back the House in November, expect incivility on the left that has never been seen before. Unhinged.
Personally, I think Trump has a better chance of winning in 2020 if Dems do win the House back. Also, even if he's impeached, he will never be convicted in the Senate (takes 67 Senators to do that, won't happen).

There's a special election in Ohio next Tuesday to replace Pat Tiberi, not sure of his official title, don't care, state representative or something....it's a long held republican position, Vice President dumbass was in the city where I live last week campaigning for the republican candidate; president dumbass will be in town this week also campaigning for the republican candidate......probably not a good sign if campaigning is necessary in past republican strongholds. Thanks.

I remember people thinking that the Democrats would control power for a generation following George W. Bush. How'd that work out? Arsenal kick off in just over one week, that's where all my attention will go anyway.

Politics do seem to be cyclical, which certainly says something.....like, normally after two terms of presidency, it changes...... I just don't get into politics; both major political ideologies and systems work flawlessly, in theory, fiscally speaking, when there isn't opposition.....I say pick one, and stick with it. The liberal model is much more efficient and not left to decision.......tax the rich more.....death and taxes. I also have no bias, no partisanship, I swear allegiance to myself........politics are for goofs. Thanks.

There's no perfect system, never will be - humans want to complain about something, I guess. Think about how many poeple would be out of a job if the world was perfect..... The republican party insults my intelligence; the Democratic Party wants all my money.... Thanks.

Problem is most mainstream media is overwhelmingly liberal and whenever you go outside of their lines, you’re publicly chastised for it. Many of them are incredibly arrogant, condescending, and honestly racist towards “minorities.” They tell them they’re oppressed and that their voice isn’t heard, and that they’re not represented enough.

The problem with mainstream media is that they are simply pro establishment, whether it be democratic or republican(not as much with the current president though, probably because he's been too openly racist for them to just shut up like they tend to do, and because he's verbally attacked them). These channels are backed by huge companies, and if they would try to rock the boat they would get an angry telephone call. Guess why Bernie Sanders wasn't very popular on any of the networks? He wanted to rock the boat. If anyone of them were liberal by nature, I think they might have been a bit nicer to him, and CNN might have broadcasted some of his rallies instead of zoomning in on an empty podium, waiting for yet another Trump rally. Sure, now with Trump some of these anchors have been doing their jobs more correctly than usual, ocasionally calling out bullshit on air whenever someone tells a blatant lie, but when Trump is gone and he's replaced by the classic calm and smiling politician they will go back to their usual neutral(instead of objective) selves and call everything 50/50 again.

Wait, what are you all calling "liberal" ? It seems we don't have the same definition.

I'm not denying that fact, but I don't see how that makes them particularly liberal. They were simply anti Trump(with good reasons I would say), but if they would have been liberals they would have probably said something like "yeah, we know she's shitty, but look at that guy", and be open about rooting for the least bad option of the two. But since they hold the establishment in such high regard most of them saw nothing wrong with her, and that annoyed me just as much as I think it annoyed you.

It suggests an imbalance. Sure there’s an imbalance, but why do the wealthy have to give up what they earned (regardless if you think that they deserve it or not) and give it to others?
