Nice from Liam to be honest for once, it was indeed the good decision. McCarroll couldn't drum for a professional band.

Tony's mistake was suing for unrealized royalties over the full contract. He could have easily secured ongoing royalties for DM, which would have set him up quite comfortably, but he had to give them up in the settlement.
In the book, he makes it sound as though Oasis were refusing him even the DM royalties he was entitled to, but that would have been an easily won lawsuit.
