Songs play normally and correctly on iTunes on my computer. This is happening with music I download via torrents, etc - even though those downloads are coming indirectly from an iTunes rip. However, my own personally purchased music from iTunes works normally on the iDevices (iPhone/iPad) so I have no idea what’s going on? Not all tracks cut off but the ones that do, do so at the same place every time on theiPhone and ipad - the song skips to the next track for several seconds and then returns to the original track it has been playing. I’ve researched this and it’s a common problem dating back several years. And I can’t find one common solution. I’ve tried everything - resyncing, downloading again, changing the embedded art work, uploading to the cloud, downloading from the cloud, removing album and adding back again to iTunes, etc etc etc NOTHING is working. And it’s driving me crazy. I have iTunes Match, as well. And don’t know if the problem is related to that. I wrote about the same/similar problem (link below) but the fix I found back then isn’t working on my current problem. live4ever.proboards.com/thread/85177/itunes-iphone-helpI fucking hate Apple now. The company has gone to shit since Jobs died. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Fuck it. I give up. Buying Who Built the Moon (as I would have done anyway).
This problem persists and it's a real fucking bitch of a problem.

Hmmm....Same problem with the Ed Sheeran album (because it's a universal problem with all downloaded music that wasn't purchased).
Castle on the Hill skipped half way through.
I uploaded it to the cloud, and then downloaded it from the cloud to both iPad and iPhone....Castle on the Hill now plays all the way full.
I'm literally through playing his "Divide" album on my iPhone, and not one single problem so far. Fucking long ass album though (Deluxe) so I don't want to say it's definitely fixed yet.
That being said, I SWEAR I tried the same thing with "Who Built the Moon", and it didn't work. Maybe I didn't do it properly, I don't know.
But this problem is fucking infuriating. I hope I just stumbled upon the fix....?
FUCK YOU APPLE.

Interesting. Played perfectly on iPhone.
Answer may lie in the Cloud.

People on here were warning me about his inoffensive music. His singles tend to be good, though.

Just tried the iCloud fix on a Lily Allen album that was acting up. Seems like it fixed it.
No idea why music won't sync normally (via USB) with iCloud turned off. There's no logic to the problem. But at least I seemingly found the fix.

It's fucking happening again.
This is the most infuriating problem known to man. I am so fucking sick of Apple.
I added the McBusted album, and it worked seamlessly (shit album, mind). I tried adding Busted's Nightdriver album, and ran into this cut off problem (poor album, too!)
I literally have no idea why one worked and the other fucked up with this recurring problem. Piece of shit, Apple.

I just played 3 albums in a row that I just downloaded and added to my iPad and they all worked perfectly.
But I have no fucking doubt this problem will pop again. Fuck life.

I had success with several albums, but now having this problem again with my two most recent additions. I fucking give up. Sort yourself out, Apple. Shambles of a company these days.

I dicked around all day with iTunes and now the Frank Turner album plays perfectly fine on the iOS devices. I have no clue as to what I did to make it work, either.
You do my head in, Apple.

Pet Shop Boys’ Actually played flawlessly.
I’d like to say I fixed this problem, but this thread is evidenced to the contrary - I will no doubt come across this problem once more. But for now I will bask in my smugness that I have fixed it, albeit probably only temporary.
Either way, Actually is an incredible album.

I actually think I fixed this issue.
What I did over the past weekend was essentially created an entirely new iTunes library, then re-uploaded to the iCloud Music Library which seemed to have reset the iCloud and thus fixed the issue.

That's 8 consecutive albums that I've added that have worked perfectly. I declare this problem solved.

Be Here Now would probably benefit from this.
