My new record ritual: Weed,headphones,fly Yeah I like doing the gardening with my iPod too. It's always nice to get the garden in shape before a trip, so it's not overgrown when you get back. You going anywhere nice? X |

OMG can't everyone just wait til the 24th, it's only 4 fucking days!! I'm delighted it hasn't leaked so close to release. Just means I don't have to be tempted to listen to poor quality mp3 files or whatever. I remember listening to the Dig Out Your Soul leak 9 years ago and by time I bought it on CD, any wish for an immersive experience was ruined. A few years down the line and I refused to listen to any leak of Noel's first album. Sure enough, I was totally absorbed in the music, blown away by a few of the songs that blasted out of my speaker. Toying with the idea of not reading these threads when it does inevitably leak with the Japanese release, so I can dive into the album with no preconceptions of it. I only do this with Gallagher releases. Call me sentimental but they're still the only acts I prepare myself with a grand ritual of getting comfortable and in the best possible place to listen, while admiring the album artwork and liner notes. Small trivial moments to some, especially for those who don't like music, but unforgettable and very special for me personally. |

Just want to say the whole artwork and concept is the most colourful and beautiful Gallagher related artwork ever. And I have a feeling we will get the music to fit the imagery at last.

The same thing happened to me when I heard the latest Depeche Mode album from the leak... 5 days before the release I had known it by heart and was even getting slightly bored. On the day of the proper release I got a cd, played it and it was like listening to a completely different record. Since then I refuse listening to LOW quality leaks... or rips from streams. Obviously if I'm offered NGHFB good quality leak I won't say no  |

I remember getting Heathen Chemistry from KaZaA and I regretted it so much. In that case there was the months of descriptions and hype about each track individually and I swear that it ruined SCYHO for me. That song was SO hyped up on oasisinet that people made me think it was going to eclipse DLBIA and Wonderwall, it was just silly. So I'd built it up so high it was never going to meet my expectations and I think I feel it's a worse song than it is because of it. Don't get me started on the quality of mp3s, fuckin appauling. So yet another reason not to listen to shite leaks. I'm not even tempted by that link on Be Careful What You Wish For - it's just going to be soooooooooo much better when I lie back, lights off, eyes closed, headphones in, undivided attention, and Fort Knox blasts out beginning the journey!! What will be interesting is that the first 2 tracks I know really well, and track 4 getting to know, and then the ENTIRE rest of the record is new territory!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, so excited. |

New Noel this week. Liam concert Thursday. What. a. week. In my ten years as an Oasis fan, 2017 has been the best. Never ever expected it which makes it even better. We got two Gallagher releases in 2011, but these new albums I'm sure are going to blow them out the water. |

Artwork was impressive and very psychedelic. However....the actual music should have been the same but unfortunately was the opposite, which for me, was extremely bland. Kind of made the artwork concept redundant. |
