Who isn't Noel respecting? The songwriters that wrote two thirds of Liam's record? Maths not your strong point? On the standard edition of the album, Liam wrote 6/12 songs himself, co-wrote 4 and has nothing to do with 2. Of the three deluxe tracks he wrote 2 himself, and co-wrote the other. No one wrote two thirds of his album. As far as I know, LG wrote - as in, fully came up with the melody, lyrics and structure of the song without any help at all, the following: - Greedy Soul - Bold - When I'm In Need - You Better Run Forgive me if I'm wrong. I'm not slamming Liam btw. I really like AYW. But ffs, Noel isn't being 'disrespectful' - or at least no more than Liam has been about him. People need to get a grip and get over the rift.

Liam has gotten right under Noels skin not only with his social media, but with his brilliant new music, and with his surge in popularity now seemingly as he is the number 1 Gallagher in the public eye. It's a situation Noel has never faced before, and he's already making pathetic excuses even before his album has sufaced. Liam has totally and utterly unnerved him and rattled fuck out of his cage, and it's quite clear with the venom that is evident in Noels tone. And to suggest he hasn't listened to the AYW is absolutely fucking laughable. He's riding shotgun now, let's see how this fascinating role reversal pans out over the next year. Your post is perfect. Noel is in a very uncomfortable position and clueless about to do. He's under pressure and will inevitably make an unforced error. He's about to do something absurd that will alienate a large part of his fanbase, making the whole "parka monkeys" debacle look small. Mark my words. Hahah fucking hell Opinion as fact. Personally, I'm happy for them both. I really don't think Noel cares that much anymore. He's just giving as good as he's got from Liam, who conversely gives as good as he gets from Noel. I also have no idea why any grown adult would be offended by the term 'parka monkeys'.It's ludicrous.

Noel should probably ask Liam for the phone numbers of those song writers because his lyrics have been quite simple lately. SHE SMELT LIKE 1969 I didn't want to participate in the inane discussion in this thread, but I can't let this common misconception pass by. It's smiled, guys.

Noel is getting especially mean here in that he knows what will hurt Liam most, and he goes for that soft spot. Everyone knows that Liam has been honest about wanting Noel’s admiration and support as a songwriter and musician. So, Noel calls him “the singer” and a hack and whatever else because he knows the damage this will do. PS How was Liam supposed to become a better songwriter when NG the control freak never allowed him to properly contribute and progress? Twisted.
I was team Noel hardcore for many many years up until to the past month or more. Noel has become just a very unlikeable uncool dufus.

a.k.a he doesn't care... Seriously, think about it for a second. Noel is rich as hell, hangs out with all your favorite elitists in the music industry, and makes music that he could care less about what people think. Why the hell should he care about Liam's record and public opinion? His douchebaggery is an obvious example that's he's lost all fucks to give. He spends more time going on about his brother than he does about his own album. If he didn't care, he'd stop talking about it. He gets asked questions about his brother

Do you reckon they put a pistol to his head, or is someone putting their hand up his ass and working him like a sockpuppet?

"The singer, in particular, was jumping up and down on the spot like fucking Michael Palin in the Life of Brian saying, ‘You can’t do that! People are going to laugh at us! I can’t sing that.’ And I was like, calm down dear. It’s going to be fine."
That sounds too similar to the Bonehead's anecdote about the song being a T Rex ripoff.
Also, I don't see how your new music not beng well received can be something to be calm or "don't give a fuck" about.

For people in their position not really since it probably takes the will power and discipline of a fuckin shaolin monk not to do it. I'd love to see how you'd fare if you were in their shoes tbh

I stand by my opinion from before - Noel's become a boring prick. And with all the success and surge in popularity Liam is enjoying at the moment a very bitter one as well. Still, while not liking the man himself, I'm on the lookout for the new album.

Liam knows that he isn't a songwriter, everybody knows that and everybody accept that. So I really don't understand why Noel (and other people) keep saying that.
It's like saying to a goalkeeper that he never scores. It's really stupid.

Noel is a legend Liam is a legend
Noel wrote some amazing songs Liam sung like a fucking God
Oasis wouldn’t have been what it was without either of them Oasis was them both and more
The best thing was Liam in form singing 90% with the occasional Noel gem to make it special
Liam remained a lad Noel grew up
Noel’s done some greatness since Now Liam has too
Noel has lowered himself Liam has been Liam
Case closed

It's like saying to a goalkeeper that he never scores. It's really stupid. I think Liam is very modest regarding his songwriting chops. Someone who can write a song like I've All I Need or I'm Outta time or Songbird(to name a few) is one hell of a songwriter. I think of Liam as the George Harrison of Oasis. Just my opinion.

The fact Liam is having success is getting to him, i guess he was not expecting this, and quite honestly nobody was. But i´m not taking sides. They just don´t like each other and will continue to be the incredible vaginas they are regarding anything about them two. It´s only sad now, they are brothers at the end of the day and they can´t fucking deny they liked each other a lot, the proof is all there, key word is liked, because this is getting to hate, even Liam already said he doesn´t like him anymore, former brother and all, and he never went that far.
We can all guess the fuck happened, but the true answer only they two know and probably will never be public.

He wrote by himself; Bold Greedy Soul You Better Run I Get By Universal Gleam I’ve All I Need Deluxe: All My People I Never Wanna Be Like You He had a bit of help with When I’m In Need. He had nothing to do with Chinatown or Papercrown. The rest he co-wrote. It wasn’t a dig really, I saw your comment that you like the album. And I understand what you’re saying about the rift on this forum, it does get tiresome and pathetic. But the songwriting thing annoys me a bit. So many people don’t realise how many Liam wrote on this album. I saw a comment on a Facebook article saying something along the lines of “Yeah I like the album but Liam only wrote one song”. Nearly put my head through the keyboard. He wrote the majority of it.

People who believe that Noel don't care about Liam success and to not sold out his uk tour see Noel in a way totally different that I see him. But I think he can say shit about Liam because Liam does the same. But is sad to see the hate between them.
