5/5 for sure, no?
Edit: Thanks for moving this to the right section.

5/5.
Best post-BHN song. I love the demo too and most live performances of it are incredible.

An unbelievable tune. Had The Beatles released it we would be talking about one of the all time greats, I think it fell onto the wrong album commercially.

5/5. Pure genius. The lyrics are haunting, the arrangement is suitably moody, and the vocals accentuate the whole vibe. Stylistically, it wouldn't have fit on the classic albums, but it's as good as anything in them.

Without question, 5/5. This should have been the template song for Oasis MkII, but it's an outlier in hindsight.

Definitely the best out of SOTSOG with Roll It Over. The drum sound is just incredible, the lyrics, the concept behind the song, the vocals, the guitar, the melody. That fucking sound on the intro. Everything is brilliant. Also sounds incredible live. 5/5

Greattt greaattt song! 4.5/5 Never understood why they stopped playing it live after 2002. Was one song that 2000s Oasis really did well live...

Definitely a 5/5 for me. My favourite Oasis song post 2000
Would love it if Noel or Liam played it live again.

I feel it runs out of ideas after the solo. Everything up to that point is incredible, and the next chorus is great, but I think it goes on a bit without much else being added. End it sooner and it'd be 10/10. As is, around a 9.

Everything about this song is amazing.
I really hope there are some unreleased songs with Liam on vocals from these sessions. His vocals were amazing in 1999.

I wish Oasis would have continued this direction. I wish Noel would return to it.

Just incredible, it doesn’t get anywhere near the credit it deserves outside of the hardcore Oasis fan base,
To think of the amount of people who haven’t heard this song is criminal

Without question, 5/5. This should have been the template song for Oasis MkII, but it's an outlier in hindsight. 100%. Half of SOTSOG shows Oasis could have conquered the world all over again post-2000, with a bit more care and planning.

5/5. I love everything about this track. The way it builds up (probably the only Oasis song you can call "progressive"), the low tempo, the multitude of sounds and instruments, Liam's voice, the harmonica solo and the overall industrial feel. It's not just a tune on the album - it's the tune that should have been released as a single.

I've a couple friends who are casual listeners and usually prefer the more radio friendly Oasis but they absolutely adore 'Gas Panic!' and would probably rank it very high on their favourite Oasis songs. They more than likely would not of heard the song if I hadn't shown them.

And went from this to Heathen Chemistry, it's quite tragic all in all. I guess this was a very tough time in Noel's life with the divorce and coming off drugs etc. and it all affected him and his creative drive very heavily.
