So every review so far has said Fort Knox has barely a Noel vocal on it yet the first “song” we hear in the trailer clearly has Noel singing more than a note or two. I wonder if that’s from Keep On Reaching and not Fort Knox. I still believe we heard more than 3 songs in that Moon trailer.

Maybe it's just that DGSS is not as bad as people pretend it is. I listened to it recently and I wouldn't call it bad, it's just not good as a whole. FLW, Wigwam (before it gets boring) and Morning Son are great. The rest is pretty dull. I'm still a big fan of most of BE. Gem is like a completely different writer on it, especially if you include his bonus tracks.

Way too many lyrics in that song to be an instrumental all the reviews say contain no lyrics. That fragment we hear clearly has a load of lyrics and because of that I'd NEVER consider it an instrumental but hey, maybe thats me.

I guess my problem is with reviewers kinda misleading us by saying it’s an instrumental with no vocals. I don’t care either way. If they arrive at the end then it’s no longer and istrumentwl. Silly to debate but at least it’s harmelss speculation. I don’t care if it has vocals or not. I’m excited.

From the Sunday Times: NOEL GALLAGHER’S HIGH FLYING BIRDS Who Built the Moon Sour Mash There’s nothing like sibling rivalry to stir the creative juices. While banal Beady Eye continued, Noel coasted along as the dominant Gallagher; but with a decent album from Liam, the stakes are raised. Noel duly responds with the excellent Who Built the Moon, bringing in David Holmes as co-producer, and his psychedelic side takes flight. Great songs such as It’s a Beautiful World still boast Noel’s sing-along melodies, but the stodge has been removed from the production. Led Zeppelin IV only has 8 songs on it. Decent record. The times that Oasis albums would have been improved by taking a song or two off, it really doesn't bother me.Only problem with that is Noel Gallagher is a bit of a wally when it comes to deciding his best songs, it would be better for us if he chucked 11 on there and let us cut the worst three. I'm not really looking forward to this album, was properly hyped leading up to HFB and CY, from what I've heard of this so far it's not really my thing.

Completely agree, so many reviewers feel they have to give the reader the artist whole fucking backstory when all we really want is to know what the songs sound like.

Maybe it's just that DGSS is not as bad as people pretend it is. I listened to the whole thing for the first time ever a few weeks ago and can confirm it's absolute dog eggs.

I'm Manchester City and Manchester United. I'm Denis Law. But you have to call a spade a spade and DGSS is woeful.

But you have to call a spade a spade and DGSS is woeful. The last few tracks of DOYS was a warning for what was to come. I was never a big fan of Beady Eye, I went back to DGSS the other week and picked out songs to listen to. I listened to Four Letter Word and skipped every song until The Morning Son, the last track on the album. I think Liam wasted his time in that band. Just my thoughts, I know there are fans of Beady Eye on here who enjoyed them.
