I chose:
I'm Outta Time: It's often dismissed as a mere Lennon pastiche, but quite frankly, post-Imagine Lennon would have been glad to have this tune. In the mid-70s melody too often took a backseat to John's message, and he wrote some stinkers because of it. With I'm Outta Time, Liam wasn't simply paying homage to his hero, he was playing in the same field.
The Death of You and Me: Far from an Oasis tune, yet unmistakably Noel's. Beautiful, beautiful melody. And the video made me fall in love with Devon Ogden.
The Beat Goes On: It just touches me. The melancholy melody, the subject matter, it just works. And honestly? It made me think of what it would be like to lose Liam. I have a very emotional reaction to this song.
Ballad of the Mighty I: By rights, I shouldn't like this song. It's another loop-driven Noel tune, which are not my favorite. But the way the melody builds is brilliant. And it's my favorite NGHFB video, too.
Wall of Glass: Fucking hell, the comeback single to end all others. Despite being written by a third party, it fits in perfectly with the sound we subconsciously expect from Liam Gallagher. Even the harmonica at the beginning recalls 90s Oasis. Just brilliant.
For What It's Worth: I honestly think if we'd been told this was an Oasis tune, and Noel had been alongside Liam in the video, we'd be talking about how the glory days were back. It sounds like a proper Oasis tune with a touch of ELO magic. Love it.

Just two songs without a vote and I think it says it all when you consider the two songs without a vote in reality

Wall Of Glass. One of the best songs to come out ever from a Gallagher.

Interesting to see Falling Down at #3.
One of many great songs that Noel should be playing at the HFB gigs and isn't.

After it was clear that Oasis are not the new Beatles, after it was clear that their 3 biggest stengths, Noel's inspired youthful songwriting, Liam's voice and band's energy will never be on the level they once were, it was time for our fans to lower our standards.
Therefore, I vote for:
1) The Shock of the Lightning, because, realistically speaking, you couldn't expect more from Oasis in 2008. It still has that characteristic Oasis energy but it also really modern rock tune.
2) Falling Down, because I think that it is the best that we can get from song written and sung by Noel. In this century at least.
3) Wall Of Glass, same thing. You have to be delusional to expect more from 45 years old rocker. As good as it gets.

The Shock of the Lightning is definitely up there with 90's Oasis. Everything is right about that song.

Not even in my top 5.
