Became a fan in 2012/13, lurked on this forum for about a year, finally decided to create an account in the summer of 2014 when I was extremely bored and here I still am.
Became a fan after a lot of things. Noel's solo work was doing well and he was on a couple of shows. Thought he was really funny at Graham Norton. I quite liked his stuff as well. Then a bit later I saw some show at the BBC and it had them doing DLBIA at Top Of The Pops. Now, I had known this song for years, like Wonderwall, Little By Little, Champagne Supernova and Live Forever, and also knew Lyla, TIOBI, The Shock Of The Lightning and Falling Down (and Half The World Away, as I used to watch the Royle Family, but I didn't know who sang that), but it was only then that it truely clicked, that I realized what a great song it was. Then the mania started.

I didn't even know this was an Oasis forum 'til about a year ago; I originally joined for the Flea Market section, looking for a mail order bride....
Thanks.

I initially joined this forum to gain access to the Polish radio station leak of Lyla in April 2005*, as well to getting some bootlegs and the MTV Unplugged video. I had zero intention on staying around hence the uncreative handle of live4evr that I was infamously known for. It was a rocky beginning, such is the life of a then 17 year old. But thirteen (13!) years later, I'm one of the old heads still floating around. Fucking love this place. Been through the DBTT hype (which was mental at the time), the leaks of RM-AGN-STC in May 2008, the DOYS hype (that trailer teaser is still immense, mind), and of course the split up of the band (boo) and following each Gallagher brother's independent projects. And don't forget the trolls - BeadyEyeUnofficial, LordDontKnowMeKnow, RoboHump, Herbawhore, OasisBlues....the tennis players, Frank Fucking Lomax, Oasis Mafia And caro. Always remember caro. And Black Rebel Motorcycle Pixie.. Political discussions and changing of governments - George W. Bush --> Barack Obama --> Donald Trump. The chaos of the British governing system. The on going bantz about how bad The Arsenal are. Sigh. And why Holy Mountain is the best thing since Round Are Way sliced the radio stations. Not really my most eloquent post, can't be arsed, but this forum has seen A LOT over the 13 years I've been a member, and I wouldn't want it any other way. Onwards. *Hello mimmihopps! You disappoint me.

All the way, baby. Two words: Ned Raggett. (Who, incidentally, is a friend of a friend, I discovered the other day...)

Hello, everyone. Long time no see. Let's not forget when the forum had karma. Pete Bones and his evil pals from the Mafia Board kept trying to give me negative karma day and night for months on end.

Around 2004 I started reading Oasis forums but I didn't write anything or even registered, because I thought I wouldn't be able to write in english. I remember reading oasisinet and some website that had a huge collection of Oasis bootleg artwork, I think it was william...something? I also remember some italian forum with lots of downloads. Then I joined The Masterplan, L4E and a spanish forum in 2006. Later I joined the soapbox and STC forum but hardly wrote anything. L4E is like a second home and the only forum I'm still active on, I read it everyday

I remember seeing all those artworks and having no clue what a bootleg was I thought they were official released albums at the time.

I've been here under a few different accounts since somewhere between HC and DBTT. I remember we were talking about a promo poster for DBTT and someone commented that the way Andy was standing in front of one of the letters in the background it looked like he had a Hitler mustache.
The Soapbox started out as oasisforum.com, right? I was on there. And of course inet before that. My first email address that I really used was on oasiscentral.
Rain, I remember all those except maybe noelrock.

Webmistress shut the forum down quickly and banned many oasisforum refuguees. Soapbox was the next stop and long term. Noelrock forum was very small.

I didn't even know this was an Oasis forum 'til about a year ago; I originally joined for the Flea Market section, looking for a mail order bride.... Thanks. That’s okay, as Elie De Beaufour still doesn’t know that this is an Oasis forum. I doubt she even knows who Oasis are, mate.

I've been a member here since 2008 and it's the first forum I joined. I was on Stop the Clocks forum aswell for awhile. That place was odd though.
Anyway great community of fans on here. I check in to the forum daily, even when there's no Gallagher release on the horizon, this place is still alive.

I guess I joined in may of 2004 (😮) but I had been reading the newsroom since 2003 I think. Then I realized there was a lot more on the forum and lurked there before I finally decided to take part as an active member. I would say I really became more involved around January 2005 as I was at the time bored home and looking for an internship. Then I posted a few hundred posts (I used to have more posts than Mimmi, hard to believe!) and a few year later became busy with life and strayed away leaving Mimmi and Eva deal with the trolls (they weren’t as bad then). We had a few other active mods back then but they’re mostly all gone. Live4ever will always be special to me!
