Unless the Foo Fighters stay in the charts or someone else I'm forgetting, I don't se why he won't have a #1.

Gallaghers take six spots out of the top ten. They're taking over haha.

Gallaghers take six spots out of the top ten. They're taking over haha. If you give points in reverse order, ie #1 gets 10 points then Liam totals 19 and Noel scores 17.

Reckon Liam will sell between 80-100 k first week that is a conservative estimate.

Any expectations for the U.S. charts? Not high expectations. You think? But, his U.S. tour is mostly sold out... will that help him?

Not high expectations. You think? But, his U.S. tour is mostly sold out... will that help him? I’m probably swayed by the negative Oasis/U.S. press we’ve been fed over here. Truthfully, I wouldn’t know what to expect.

I always found it strange that when they revealed he had cheated on Nicole, like 3 of the Oasis albums went back in the top 100.
I love the idea of some 44 year old bloke in Coventry looking at the front of his paper and thinking ahhh that swine, wheres my Morning Glory album?

Reckon Liam will sell between 80-100 k first week that is a conservative estimate. Sounds a bit high given the current music sales climate. I'm thinking 60-80.

Any expectations for the U.S. charts? None here really. Wish him the best though. Being a US Oasis fan can sometimes be a solitary experience. Just lucky to have a good mate who also likes them, as well as a few friends who don't mind em.

That's the indie and alternative chart. If you look at the overall CD chart, Pink is on top, Liam is #2 and #6, and Noel is #7 & #18 www.amazon.co.uk/gp/new-releases/music/ref=zg_bsnr_unv_m_h__1_231193_1For the US Amazon site, Liam is #252 overall (for the deluxe version). Noel is #426. I always say this - for the US, don't focus on the charts and radio play. Unless you are a mainstream act, it means little. What matters is did you connect with your fan base. There are many bands and artists that have fantastic tours and much respect that get neither airplay or chart success. For example, Neil Finn. He's sitting at #420 on Amazon despite being an Amazon pick. But his tour will sell out - he has a rabid fan base. Edit: Just noticed Liam is #36 for pre-orders for the US on Amazon, which is quite good (keep in mind everyone going to the concerts already has an album coming to them). But to put this in perspective, it is still several notches below Hanson's Christmas Album.
