Just wondering like. Btw: Why the hell is this song called 'married with children'? Is this some reference to the show?

4/5 the album version, 5/5 the live electric version. Avg of 4.5, rounding up to 5/5 on the poll.
Such a great fuckin tune to sing along to tbh

4/5 perfect wee song to end a semi-concept album.
Simple. Sweet. Genuine.

4/5, the perfect album closer.
On a detail level, I've always loved the echo effect when Liam sings "up all night".

I recorded a version of Married...With Children for a b-side to my last single. Here's a live version of it
The actual recorded version has a better honky tonk piano solo.

Great but I will say it now. If Liam released that song today, it would get shit on. Or if Beady Eye did it. It is under the "Because it came out in the 90s, it will be considered more highly" category. Great song still.

Just about 3/5, it's ok but not amazing. Lyrics are nice as is Liam's vocals. That's it though, just...nice

Just wondering like. Btw: Why the hell is this song called 'married with children'? Is this some reference to the show? No, it's not a f***ing reference to the American TV show! LMAO The idea of Noel in the early 90's deciding to reference a shit American sitcom is hilarious!! Great song and I love the lyrics. By listening to the lyrics you can understand why it's called Married With Children. 5/5

'shit American sitcom'
You know that's arguable, right?

It's a 5 for me, any version. As catchy as anything Noel's ever written, and a nuanced delivery from Liam that shows he's about much more than just snarling.

Noel Gallagher told Melody Maker: "I looked at them two in the show, and looked at us two, and I thought, that's us, that is!"

Never been one of my favourites or anything, but just the line
"Your music's shite it keeps me up all night up all night"
is pure gold.

This is like that moment when Noel learnt that Martha My Dear was about Paul McCartney’s dog.
