Edited well, with a great score, and a brilliant performance from Dame Judi.
Always fascinates me how different directors take a different style to Bond films. In recent years they’ve tried to become a bit more ‘cerebral’ with their director choices - you know, proper serious filmmakers as opposed to the get rich quick blockbuster director of previous Bond films. They now get that fine balance between popular action appeal and artistry in the direction like the scene you shared.
There’s also this scene that I love with that long panning shot when the villain enters the film. Superb entrance and you know for sure this guy means business, all done by expert direction!
Can’t wait to see what Danny Boyle does with the next Bond film. Extremely high expectations.
