Nice track but nothing special. Still better than the next two tracks on the album.

One of my least favourite Oasis songs. Production is decent, but the tune... Absolute career killer. It killed any momentum they had from Go Let it Out reaching number one. If Be Here Now had knocked Oasis off their perch as the biggest band, Who Feels Love and Sunday Morning Call confirmed they weren't coming back for a while... It's just a dirge. With a 'Dear Prudence' riff at the end. I still can't believe they chose this as a single. What were they thinking?!In Noel's case during that era I think his pharmaceutical prescriptions helped that decision... In hindsight someone like Apu from The Simpsons may have been needed just before said single went to pressing-

Love the artwork. The logo change was shite though. But all the sleeve designs of the SOTSOG were top notch. Album and first 2 single sleeves are great but Sunday Morning Call with the champagne glasses is a bit shit IMO. The collection of songs they had for SOTSOG were never gonna make for great singles in terms of radio play really. Maybe Let's All Make Believe but looking at it as a comedown album, it was always going to be a struggle to maintain their run or number 1 or 2 chart positions.

I've listened to DOYS as much as any of the albums over the past year. After neglecting it for a while that is.
Soldier On - whilst I really like it - is a bit of a retread of Who Feels Love for me. Same basic beat throughout. Same great vocal of course!
