I think Noel is taking advantage of the hype and the viral trends like the "Sissors thing". It's a shame...

I love the version he played at Jools but I think, I hope, that the album version will sound massive.

Besides the running time showing up on UK iTunes, no other signs are positive that the single will be released. No tweets by a radio DJ saying "Big exclusive tomorrow" or other hype like before HM and FK. So strange...if it does come out tomorrow, it will just magically appear it seems.

Anyway, can't wait for this. I think it'll be great. What did you think of Fort Knox? I like it a lot. Taken in isolation I'd give it a very strong 8/10, something like that, but I'm expecting that to go up once I've heard it in with the rest of the songs on the album. Instrumentals can be a pain in the arse when they're halfway down an album's tracklist (see R.E.M.'s 'New Orleans Instrumental No. 1'), but I've never known myself to dislike one that was made an opener.

Now you have me wondering what my favourite instrumental opener is...the candidates, off the top of my head: Sound and Vision - Bowie Bulletproof Cupid - Placebo Fuckin' in the Bushes - Oasis Life in Technicolour - Coldplay Fort Knox - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Agaetis Bryjun - Sigur Ros Intro - The XX I think I'll have to go with The XX, but I do fucking love Fort Knox.

The OasisBrazil guy said it was going to be released on the 10th. He’s reliable. Noel himself also told a couple of fans.

Can still drop tomorrow. I guess most bands just release shit. We are just use to Noel’s 90s mentality all the time.

Would it be weird / unorthodox / stupid to release a single a week before a full album release? Would they really release Beautiful World just one week before the album?

On Apple Music (TVOS) the track length for Beautiful World is now visible.
The only other tracks with run times displayed are Fort Knox and Mountain.

It’s been known in the USA iTunes Store for well over a month. Whole album times.

The more countries that have a timestamp the better.
Canadain iTunes got timestamps for Fort Knox, Holy Mountain and Beautiful World right when the album trailer dropped. Earlier this week they put timestamps up for the rest of the album.
Just something, anything would be welcome. Give me a 6 second clip of Noel telling me its the bullocks.
