CNN has a Documentary series about each decade starting with the 60's focusing on different aspects like music, politics, T.V, etc. Well their series is onto the 90's now and tonight's episode was about music intitled isn't it ironic. I did not have high expectations they would even mention Oasis considering it was an American point of view program and I'm used to Oasis not getting their due respect here state side. Anyway I was pleasantly surprised when after talking about Cobain's death they mentioned Britpop and Oasis by name and even played Wonderwall. They had some nice things to say about Oasis, about them being different then Nirvana and wanting to be big and they even had a quote from Noel from back in the day. It wasn't too long of a mention but at least they didn't get whitewashed from history which is what I was expecting. Pretty cool.
