start anew, four letter word, man of misery, and recently bold you might disagree but i really do think those 4 are masterpieces, if any other artist wrote them i wouldve been all over it as much Umm... agree to disagree. Can't really say anything about Bold yet, but the other three tracks would not even make my top 50 all-time Oasis related tracks. Never mind all music. Yeah i get music is subjective but to me the likes of Live Forever, The Masterplan, Slide Away etc are masterpieces. Them 4 songs are decent album tracks.

Don't rate this that highly to be honest. I find it half finished (why only 1 real verse and a chorus) and the main beat is very reminiscent of Little James (try playing them both at the same time and you'll see what i mean). Liam has written better by a mile and sung better on his songs by a mile. Always a skip for me

I prefer Songbird but that is because of the sound of it and the musical outro which I'm pretty sure was Noel's doing. Pretty sure I remember him saying he sent them all out to the pub and changed the whole song from the 'I should Have Known Better' demo to the finished version. I'm Outta Time is the better song as a whole.

Noel's offerings on DOYS are quite good. Bag it Up, The Turning, Waiting for the Rapture, The Shock of the Lightning, Falling Down? Noel was on fire for DOYS. That doesn't include the songs that we know he was writing at the time. IOT might be the best song on DOYS, but that doesn't mean Noel's writing was "shit." None of which would have even sniffed the B-sides shortlist 10 years prior. Really? I mean Magic Pie is on BHN. Falling Down and The Turning are better. Plus not all the 90s B sides were great.

Plus not all the 90s B sides were great. Now that's just blasphemy.

One of Liam masterpieces. What other tunes by Liam are classics exactly? Assuming this is one. For me "Im outta time" and "Born on a different cloud" are two masterpieces of the most beautiful of Oasis post 2000. "Boy with the blues" is also a very good song in my TOP 3 Liam's song in Oasis. There are other good songs in Oasis, Beady Eye, and great songs and masterpieces in his solo album.

I like the song. The Lennon quote at the end is cheesy and unnecessary, but I really liked the track at the time and I still enjoy it, although not as much as I did.
I've always thought the live version was pretty cool. The intro with the James Bond theme ripoff sounds great:
