I don't want to sound like an arrogant prick or anything, but listen to the song. In my opinion it's the best way to find out a strumming pattern. Listen to it in its studio form, check covers and live versions... everything helps. I have quite a lot of trouble working out guitar strummings as well, so these are just my thoughts.

So just having something that simple helps a lot to get your pattern down of you ups and downs

It's all about the rhythm and timing, and you can't "cheat" it from tabs. Here's the strumming pattern for the first chord, you can learn the rest of it yourself: du du dd du One more thing. It doesn't have to be identical as long as it sounds good.

ALright then thanks for help to someone who is trying to learn something and has next to zero experience in something. Sometimes it helps to have some help to learn then next time have a better grasp on things but fine I guess people arnt supposed to learn something they are unsure of when they have zero experience. Guess we can be done with the topic now

Thing is, you either have natural rhythm or you don't.

I saw this title and was thinking surely this geezer knows how to press play on iTunes. I'm glad to see that that wasn't the issue of concern. As you were.
