Has to be Paper Crown for me, pray they don't ruin the production for this one. Enjoying Wall Of Glass but not sure how long I'll keep playing it if you get me.
Universal Gleam I find myself singing along to and singing in my head during the day. Greedy Soul too, wonder if that's just another Man Of Misery kinda tune though?

Greedy Soul! Liam's best rocker.
Paper Crown and Wall Of Glass are fucking great as well!

I tried to avoid the new songs so fsr although I stumbled across them from time to time. Tgey all sound promising although I have one issue with Bold.
Somehow the introductiin of the drums after the first chorus alway feels sloppy to me. Its a damn fine song but this simple drum intro feels out of place. A short fill or something smoother would have been better in my opinion.
It feela like jeremy stacey was playing drums on Bold.

Has to be Paper Crown. Diamond of a melody, indeed! And nice to see Greedy Soul getting some love. Hope it comes wild in its studio version.
The ones I'm not too keen on are I Get By, although it's an alright filler, and You Better Run. This last one I personally dislike.

Greedy Soul. Sounds vicious.
Must admit though I quite like the majority of them all so far. One or two I reckon will be better in a studio environment as some of the broadcast mixes have been howling.

Pity they drop Paper Crown when playing festival sets. Top tune.

Pity they drop Paper Crown when playing festival sets. Top tune. Maybe it was putting too much strain on his voice and he's dropped it? I was shocked to see it not played at Glastonbury, it was easily the standout tune at Brixton.

Paper Crown is definitely the hardest for him to sing. Probably too much of a gamble if it's going out on TV.
It's my favourite of the new ones.
Can't stand Universal Gleam. Or You'd Better Run.
Greedy Soul sounded better with brass, but still Beady Eye levels for me.

I like Greedy Soul because it comes from the heart. However, I loved the demo version of AGN (a tune which also came from the heart) and it is dogshit on the album. Hopefully Greedy Soul doesn't suffer the same fate.
Obviously we haven't heard it yet but I am so so excited for 'For what it's worth'. I like songs that have a back story - this is going to be his apology letter to Nicole and potentially, (though I highly doubt it because I don't think he has anything to apologise FOR) Noel

Paper Crown for me, love the melody. Just uploaded the latest podcast episode in which I play a clip of a YouTube cover by static_ian full version here you can actually hear the song properly and it's beautiful

Although it does sound like Piggy In the Middle by The Rutles It does remind me of something else, but I can't put my hands on it. Probably some Lennon solo track.

Pretty sure they are songs. Unless you are president of the universes "This Is What A Song Is Association". If that's the case then I apologise. How did you find out ? I am, and i'm pretty clear about this. I Get By is not a song, it's merely a new take of Aint Got Nothing, which was never a song, mixed with Bring the light verse melody (try to sing the words on bring the light, and you'll see). Also known as random words spread on random chords, which is the definition of a : not a song (also known as a song not finished, song in the work). You've heard this song a million times before, that's probably why you like it. It's like an old annoying friend coming back all of a sudden, you cant help but remember the good times although you know he's a vagina. Nothing wrong about that, if there are some better tracks elsewhere on the record. And by that i mean songs (His record label seems to have the same view as our "This Is What A Song Is Association", they hired songwriters to help him finish them. Not that they succeeded though, but it's a start). "I Get By is not a song" Then, a bit later; "You've heard this song a million times before" So, is it a song or not? If I had to vote, I'd say it's definitely a song. Just because you think it's a bit shit doesn't mean it's not an actual song.

I can definitely hear some similarities between the 2 tracks but I wouldn't say one is unrecognisable from the other.
I Get By isn't my favourite from what I've heard by any stretch but I'd give it a solid 6.5/10.

Still in love with BOLD (even I if I prefer the more sensitive pub version!)

Think it's still Wall Of Glass for me. But Bold, Gleam and Greedy Soul are also favourites too.
Can't wait to hear the studio version of Soul.
