I had accidentally hit them instead of the Packers (plus it was due to when a certain rookie was playing). I think the Packers will be champion not the Falcons

Bills certainly looked like champions on Thursday night. Difficult to see past Buccs/Packers in the NFC.

That really was terrible. Even as a Raider fan, I can't enjoy watching the Broncos suck that badly.

Raiders continue to Raider. Renfrow played a blinder knocking that ball free at the end. FFS. 40 years. Forty fricking years.

Well, it's just over mid-season, and I still don't know who is good or not.
AFC is still dominated by the Chiefs, and will be for a while, but they aren't producing Super Bowls like the pats, thank god. The AFC East is quite competitive this year with every team in the conference above .500 (pending a New York Jets collapse). Likewise, the NFC East is competitive with every team above .500 and yet in both divisions, there's still plenty of season left to change that. Miami and Buffalo are both 7-3 but are vulnerable, Philadelphia ain't look too hot despite having the best record in the NFL, and the Cowboys and Giants are a few slipups away from collapsing as well. Giants look the worst of the three with a loss to the freaking Lions of all teams. Washington Commies are winning with Taylor Heinicke.
AFC North is going to be a two way race between the Ravens and the Bengals and the NFC North is looking like a runaway with the Vikings, but... The Lions are closing the gap! As always, fuck the Packers.
AFC South is the Titans for the taking. NFC South is the Bucs for the taking, but Falcons are getting sneaky.
AFC West is like I said, Chiefs country with the Chargers attempting to go above .500 (something about analytics) and the NFC West is somehow being led by Seattle, but if the 49ers win tonight (they are playing now, and I think they will) will take the division, and most likely keep it.
Each team has shown they can lose to a lesser team, and it's not a given that a team will win outright, unless they play the Texans. You can just fill in L's for the Texans the rest of the season, and the number 1 pick.

The NFL has been overdue for some sort of watershed moment, from an injury standpoint, and tonight might've been the night.
We can hope at least. The sanctioning body needs to do better than telling teams to suit up and play within five minutes of seeing one of their players get taken away in an ambulance after needing CPR...

Brutal. Was watching live at the time.
To be fair to the NFL, I very doubt they were fully aware of the seriousness of the situation at the time of the "5 mins, then play on lads" ruling - that's probably the protocol for any time-lost injury and was trotted out as a matter of routine.
If I remember right, the game in which Christian Eriksen suffered heart failure was completed on the same night, after about an hour break.
In any case, the NFL ended up doing the right thing (based on the optics of playing on, rather than out of any genuine care for the player, I'd imagine)

There was something I read from a doctor that both Boris and Hamelin could have had commotio cordis, which chest pads can not prevent 100% of the time.
