Agree with every post.
Whats even more sad is so many people get their grasp of politics from these papers too.

In all seriousness how does radio play in Britain work? Radio 1, Radio 2, BBC 6, I'm confused. Like if its not on Radio 1 but is on another does it really matter? People can still hear it. Basically radio 1 is for the kids. This is a fact not a statement. In the U.K each household has to pay a licence fee to the BBC, because of this the BBC have to provide content for all demographics. Probably about 6-7 years ago it was found that radio 1 was in breach of its charter as it was appealing to a too old demographic. So they legally had to get the average age of listeners down to come back in line with their charter. This is why they decided to not play new artists over 40 .. most famously noel and Robbie for example. Liam Obv also falls into this category now which is what makes this a complete no. Story. Also why lots of other changes happened at the station at this time Radio 2 is basically the station for 30+ These are the biggest 2 radio stations in the U.K. By long shot. Then you have local BBC stations in most areas. Then you have digital stations like 6 music The Obv you have all the commercial stations like radio x, absolute, capital etc So wall of glass will have had plenty of airplay outside of r1 and r2 Tho let's be honest as spoken about on here often radio as a format is no where near as important as it once was with Youtube and Streaming services people discover new music this way primarily now. Thank you. I appreciate the detailed explanation. Internet killed the radio star.

Seen him on tv doing celebrity news and I'm pretty sure he's gay. He was never going to let Liam off after the Haribo tweets. That story though is so twisted trying to making out it's a flop when it's a banger of a tune and a return to form for the fans old and new. What was the Haribo tweet? Something about Dan Wooten being fat and eating lots of Haribo sweets.

Dan Wooten having another dig at him this morning as Wall of Glass is now number 37 in the charts
Imagine thinking the singles charts are relevant in 2017 (at least for rock bands/singers)

And apparently "Liam Gallagher suffers album flop and confesses shock switch to grime" (Daily Star). Let's see how ridiculous these headlines will get before the album is even out.

You do know that by linking to their website, you're helping them make money with each click, right?
To publications like The Sun, it doesn't matter what type of click it is, as long as you click on their site. Remember, hateclicks give the same amount of advertising money as any other kind.

It's literally fucking embarrassing the amount of bias they have against Liam. Notice the difference in tone between something like this:
And this:
'Disappointing'? 'lackluster'? Where did they think it was going to chart? it's a DEBUT SINGLE from a 44 year old! Remember, Supersonic only got to number 31.
Makes it seem like The Sun are trying to cater towards 10 year olds with all their praising of shitty modern pop acts like Rita Ora and Ariana Grande and dismissal of older rock acts like Liam Gallagher.
